yes its that miserable time of year. end of the academic year. its 5.20am i've been up all night finishing an essay/portfolio that has to be in at 1pm. then i have just over 10 days to do a 5000 word critical evaluation. aswell as preparing for a debate on nuclear power v wind turbines to be done on the 19th followed on the 22nd and 23rd by exams.
now naturally i'm not training in the gym and i'm not eating propperly cos im' either working or studying and have no time to do anything but fast food or no food so im' piling the pounds on. but on the good side i have 4 months of for summer to go to the gym every day and cycle.
What a time of year........why does the academic year have to end while the sun is shining??? Our uni year in Oz ended in November, the start of summer.
If I lived closer I'd bring you a care package of healthy food!!! You know you study better on healthier food, all that saturated fat makes the brain cells tired. That's my nag of the day over and done with!!!
i'm actually glad it finishes in time for the summer to start it means i don't have to sit frying to death in a lecture theatre or exam hall whiles its sunny outside. i remember my days at school when you didn't finish till the middle of july and you'd spend the last 4 weeks and the verge of dehydration/hillucinations do to the heat and not being able to drink in class rooms.
I meant it would be better if you had to do all the studying in winter!!! Goodness knows we have enough of it!!! I still get palpitations at exam time and it's been a loooooooooooonnnnnnngggg time since I had to sit an exam!!!
