first i dont know you but having a new intimate partner your body has to adjust to them, so if thats the case, it goes away the more you have contact.

secondly do you use splenda, i do and found that too much splenda at least for the non yeast burning pain in my mouth caused the same burning sensation as thrush, and when i stopped using so much only 2 packets a day or less now, the pain went away. i am the only person i know who has had that reaction to splenda but i have tested it and it is definately the splenda with me, might be that if its not just excess chaffing from perspiration. just a therory it could potentially cause a systemic internal burning reaction not just mouth if one can be alergic to splenda, i think that could be it.

good luck

Not a new sex partner but hubby and I barely have time for sex these days. After having my last baby, he's 15 months now, it's gone from pretty regular to what is that called again. Like once a month. We were trying to get things going again then this stuff happened, so maybe that's it!

Splenda, I don't use to often, not everyday, I'll use a couple of teaspoons on cereal but I've been doing some reading on it anyway and I'm not sure I want to use it anymore. I don't use sugar that often anyway, so maybe I'll just stick to plain old sugar. Thanks for the tips. Things to keep in mind.

Has anyone tried the Monistat anti chafing cream. It is wonderful! I use if for around my bra line, and inner thighs, I can't believe what is like to wear skirts again.

It is by the feminine products at your local store.

I 2nd the vote for Monistat anti-chafing cream!

It is a miracle in a tube and costs about $6. I use it on my thighs when I wear a skirt because my thighs rub together. Especially when I wear pantyhose.

Also just for moisure absorption when it's really hot make sure when you use powder on or around your lady parts you want to use talc-free. I like the Summer's Eve powder. Just the tiniest dusting keeps you fresh as a daisy downstairs. I mean, you don't want your thighs to look rolled in flour and ready for deep-frying for crying out loud.

Also, if you shave down there and you have irritation from that try a tiny dab of Bikini Zone. It's a cool gel and you only need a toothpaste-sized amount. For a second or two it burns like alcohol but then it has this wonderful cooling effect and takes away all the razor rash or irritation from waxing! It's aaaaahhh-mazing! So if your guy goes downstairs to visit the kitty you won't look like you've been scaling barbed wire fences in the buff.

Good luck, hope this helps! (Don't be embarrassed :o I know us ladies are taught to be demure and not to talk about our hoo-hahs but it's ok!)

Okay guys if you having chaffing issues, you won't believe this! Use plain ole deordent in that area! Just rub it on! I used to have terrible chafing on between my thighs! This solved it!
