Yes you can lose your data if your battery goes dead I think this is true on palms though too. I store everything on the compact flash card so that does not happen. Plus with regular syncing that is not an issue for me. Everything on my PDA is on my computer also. I really like the Palm OS but I like the compatibility of the Windows mobile with my PC. For example Word, Excel, and MS Reader. Yes I know you can get these things for the palm that do this but they never seem to work as well. For me the Pocket PC edges out the Palm just barely but just enough that I kept my Pocket PC and sold my Palm.

OMG, I am truly illiterate when it comes to technology. What I know is I love fitday and I go there often but it is a little inconvenient when I change what I am eating (usually I log in the night before and pre-plan my next day but sometimes the unexpected happens). So, Sandi, if you find anything comparable to the fitday (I also really appreciate the breakdown of nutrients etc.) Please let me know either here or PM so I can get it. My husband, the technological genius and my personal hero, has offered me his old Palm Pilot (whatever the heck that is) and said I can use it (I hope I have as much faith in myself as he does!). No, give me a suicide intervention, a crisis in the family or counselling but don't put me near a copier, fax or technology, I can screw it up in no time flat! So, user-friendly are the words I need to hear if you have any suggestions!
