Another Newbie!!
 

Hi guys!! I'm so happy to have found this site and the forum here. I'm 28 years old and have been battling my weight since childhood. I've got a lot of friends (many who have weight problems too) but none have the same challenge that I've got in front of me, losing some 140 pounds. Although they try to understand, I think it takes one to know one, so I'm so excited to find a group of cool gals who are in the same place.

Currently, I'm working on resetting my weight loss goals and my eating habits. I think I've tried almost every plan and diet out there, but I haven't tried the approach of having a support group to vent, talk with, and share ideas. I love the fact that ya'll post your goals and accountability ideas here and put it out there for everybody to work towards -- that's something I seriously need!!

I've given myself a week deadline to get my eating plan and exercise plan in order and to get started. I'll let you guys know what I've decided on doing. I'm open to any good ideas ya'll may have on setting these goals! I look forward to chatting with you guys!

Hi, Misty. I'm new today too, and I'm already (in what, 5 hours?) finding an incredible support web and some simply amazing ideas. I think it's fantastic that you're giving yourself a week to find what's right for you. I surfed around the whole community for a couple of hours tonight trying to find ideas and plans and eventually, found one that I think might be perfect for me (calorie-cycling! :)), and I'm sure you'll find one that you're equally as excited about.

Thanks for the welcome everybody! :carrot: I have to admit, I'd been really dreading starting to diet and all that stuff again but just being on here with you guys and knowing that I've got some support has got me really excited to get started! Thanks for already helping me out ladies! :D
