OT- Dr's Visit Tomorrow
 

I am going for my next test tomorrow. I am hoping it will be good results and I will not have to go through this again. I have had two abnormal pap test results since last summer and tomorrow I am hoping to have turned this around. I am nervous because I don't like going in general but I know it is necessary.

Hiya Darlene....I've been dealing with the same thing for the last two years...have had two colposcopys to make sure I didn't have cancerous cells on my cervix. So far, I am clean!

Darlene - Hope it all goes well. I know what you mean about being nervous! Whenever I go to the doctor they have to take my blood pressure twice because when I first get there I am so worked up that my blood pressure looks really high.

I wen to the doctor today and she found the same lesions again. It looks like I am going to have to have a LEEP procedure which is cauterizing the area and/or a cone biopsy. I am nervous but she seems to think she can eradicate it for me.

I used to work for the American Cancer Society. I am glad they are doing this, it sounds like they caught it early. :hug: Good luck Dolly!!! :cheers:
