Seven Things To Do Before I Die:
1. Become a foster family
2. Open my own restaurant/catering business
3. Learn to snow ski
4. Get over my fear of dying (not me dying - everyone else I love)
5. Raise good hearted, caring, empathetic, confident children
6. Reach a weight I'm comfortable with and stay there
7. Get my house EXACTLY like I want it - including refinishing the antiques from my great grandmother.
Seven Things I Cannot Do (or have a hard time doing):
1. Keep my photograhs organized
2. Draw or paint
3. Flossing my teeth as often as I should
4. Walk away from confrontation
5. Speak a second language
6. See a piece of junk for what it could be instead for what it is (thanks to my creative sister I am getting better at this though!)
7. Change the tire or oil of a car
Seven Things That Attract Me To My Spouse (or Significant Other, Best Friend, etc.):
1. He makes me laugh - A LOT
2. He takes my temper patiently
3. He's smart and knows things - things that I'm never quite sure how or why he knows. He's full of random trivia.
4. He isn't helpless or too dependent - but he needs me just enough (he'd never find his keys, glasses, or wallet without me.
)
5. He is a hands on father and husband
6. He understands that being a SAHM is a full time job and recognizes that it is as demanding as his and is happy to help pick up any slack around the house (or tolerate the mess if we are both too tired to tackle it)
7. He is honest, trustworthy, hardworking, and helps me be a better person
Seven Things I Say (or Write) Most Often:
1. I can't narrow it down to particulars but suffice it to say I talk like a sailor (when the kids aren't around)
2. What do you want for dinner (breakfast/lunch/snack)?
3. Okay, we're gonna take a vote (have you ever tried to get three kids and a husband all to agree on ONE thing?)
4. I don't HAVE to give you a reason (I get asked "why" A LOT but I refuse to turn into my mother by saying "because I said so, that's why!")
5. I love you
6. Hey, monkey
7. Yeah, right
Seven Books (or Series) I love:
1. Circle of Friends (HATED the movie, BTW)
2. Bridget Jones' Diary
3. If Life Is a Bowl of Cherries, Why am I always in the Pits? by Erma Bombeck (this is the first "grown up" book I remember reading when I was younger).
4. Anything by Chris Rock
5. Big George: The Autobiography of an Angel by James (Jim) Jennings
6. Where the Sidewalk Ends
7. An Underground Education by Richard Zacks
Seven Movies I Would Watch Over and Over Again:
1. Fight Club
2. Stranger's With Candy DVDs (okay, not technically a movie but I can watch every season in one sitting just like a movie).
3. Bourne Identity
4. Bridget Jones' Diary (just the first one)
5. Wedding Crashers
6. Terms of Endearment (I cry EVERY time)
7. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
