Greetings from NW Iowa!!:carrot: My name is Carol. I'm 32 and have ben married to Michael for 12 1/2 yrs. We have 6 children who I homeschool. Last Wednesday at my 6 week post partum check I weighed in at 296. After toying with SBD I decided today was the day to jump in. My goal is 150. I gained weight after my first child, and have weighed this for at least 5 yrs. my goal is to be healthier, and a better example to my children. After a bout with pre eclampsia with ds born 11/11/05, I have been diagnosed with hypertension and am on meds. I gotta do something, I have so much to live for, and a lot to accomplish:D I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Thanks for the warm welcome!!! My meds? I had severe pre eclampaia with #6 and am almost 8 wks post partum. I am on Procardia and Labetalol, bresatfeeding so we dont have a whole lot of meds to go with. It is pretty well controlled, but I am determined to lose weight and get off these meds if I can!!!
