I am down 2.5 lbs! Despite of (or inspite of) having some very fattening homemade lasagna on Sunday night!

Good job everyone. I am down 1 lb this week. I am thrilled with that with it being Thanksgiving.

Question Question?

I have started exercising this week for the first time. I have exercised every day this week so far. But I am perplexed. I did not lose any weight this week. I stayed the same. I have been averaging about 1-2 pounds per week without the exercise so what gives???? My calories have been about the same each week. Any comments or suggestions?

I guess I should stop whinning and just be happy that I did not gain any, huh?

I use Fitday but I downloaded their software instead of using the online site. It is quite a bit better. Especially if you like charts and graphs!

You could be gaining muscle. Start taking your measurements along with weighing so that when the scale doesn't move, you can see if you are losing inches. If you are, then it means you are gaining muscle. I also think there is a fluid shift that happens in your body when you start working out so that the first week or so you stay the same or even gain. Keep drinking water and that should pass.

Now to go give myself the same speech...

Default Not so hot...

Well being honest with myself I need to say I haven't done so well since my last post week before last. I haven't done terrible but no big strides in the right direction so I'm just shaking it off and I'm going to try again to move forward. What do they say, you eat an elephant a bite at a time? So I guess that's what I do.

Stay positive and strong Rob (self)!

I'm still the same... (one day I'm down a lb and the next I'm even) so we will just say even... and that's okay
