bad taste in my mouth

Hello all,
I am back again,fell off the wagon for a few months but am determined to kick this thing in my big butt.I started back last week,lost 7 pounds since then and have decided to go low carb.
Today is the second full day on low carb and I have an awful taste in my mouth,it feels like my tongue and throat are parched.Any other low carb viewers, is this normal?what does it mean?and what should I expect doing low carb?

I am low-carbing it too. That is completely normal. Brush your teeth more often & CHUG the water.
