Yay!
 

So as some of you may know I've been having some problems with my current job, BUT!! Today I got the news that the job I wanted, I GOT!!! I only applied for it last Tuesday, and interviewed on Thursday, I'm SO excited, it's also a step up for me. I will be taking a management role in the store, and it's REALLY close to home :) Life is GREAT for me this minute :)

Great news Aimee. I'm so glad you found a new job. I know how much you hated where you are now. Good for you.

Pink shirt AND black shoes with pink stitching ;) The girl who interviewed me didn't even call any of my references, but I had a feeling she wouldn't. We really clicked, and have so much in common that I think thats why she hired me. My interview lasted over an hour, and it was mostly just us chatting about retail, and what it involves, also she was interested in what I had gone to college for. Which was Human Kinetics. I'm so excited, I called my mom long distance, called pretty much everyone I know, lol. :)

It is true what you are saying about "clicking" with the persone who's conducting the interview....same thing with my new boss.

Kimberley - no one seemed to really care, I told my boss..who is on vacation, I had to call her on vacation, but she just said to be sure to put the last day I am available for any shifts, and the girl in charge at work also didn't seem to care. I'd kill to be a fly on the wall after that though.. I wanted to screw them over, but I'm trying to be the better person.

frenchie - it makes a huge difference if you "click" with the boss, I think thats a better way to judge a job. My current job I was hired without an interview, and I didn't like either of the bosses to start out with.. I should have known..

SAPF - how yah doing other Aimee? ;) Or is it Aimée? I'm the second one..

Way to go, Aimee and Frenchie! Something must be in the water, because I have a new job, too... tomorrow is resignation day.
