My father is being put on the list for a kidney transplant, after he has some more tests. For those who pray, I could use 'em.


ETA (edited to add) I am going to post a link for those who don't know about my kidney disease. The cysts are so big now that they can't drain my Dad's, his kidneys will need to come out.

I don't pray but... I hope everything goes well. I've known a couple of people who have needed kidney transplants and how hard it is to go through.

Just did and will continue to do so.

Prayers comming! My cousin has been on a kidney transplant for a while now and my grandfather in law just had a kidney transplant a few months ago and is doing great!

SAPF - I do and I will continue to do so. DH is also just about back on dialysis, pending tests and labwork to confirm last week's results, etc. (function about 9% last week). Hope Dad's list is shorter than here in PA.

SAPF - So sorry to hear that your dad had to go on the list. I don't know very much about transplant lists. How soon will he get one???

SAPF, I'm so sorry for you and your father. My son's girlfriend of many years has Hep C. She got it from being raised in horrible living conditions in Mexico.Her liver is enlarged and she on a transplant list. It's very hard for all.Much love and hugs to you. Pam
