Didn't get in another mile last night so I did the 3 mile WATP for abs this morning. Man that was a great workout!!!

Well,.. one good thing has happened as far the election goes,.. im watching little to no television :devil:
i did do my Leslie one mile dvd, and as soon as I fully calm down from that, i think im going to tackle my new leslie yoga dvd. I only have an hour until hubby gets home, so i better get a move on:-) **edited to say that I tried the Yoga and yikes,.... Anything with upper body was fine,.. twisting at the torso, fine,.. warrior pose,.. ok,.. but the cobra pose where you lay on your tummy,.. ick and i couldnt even resemble some of them. i finally quit about halfway through,.. I can feel that my upper body got a good stretch though** |
Good for you heather. I need to watch less TV myself.

Heather--I'm proud of you for trying the yoga. I know you were seriously thinking of not attempting it. Who knows in a couple of weeks you'll be doing all the poses.

Excellent! You know, I've been watching TV while doing the WATP "routine" (i.e., without the tape) so at least my body is getting some exercise while my mind is totally zoning out--or being enlightened if I'm watching a good Oprah show.

Off to Florida for a few days. I plan to lick my election wounds by lazing by the pool with a good book. |
I got in one more mile last night and 2 miles this morning for a total of 9 miles since Monday morning.

After taking a day off yesterday, except for doing arm work with the 5lb weight, today I jumped in with my 1 mile Leslie dvd. Maybe i can get in another session tonight after hubby goes to work, the key word there is *maybe* LOL
grrr,... i need to do that yoga again, and I am not looking forward to it. I have been putting it off big time |

Today I did a step workout for the first time! I did a half hour of Cathe Friedrich's Basic Step (she's no joke!! She truly kicks your butt!) and then went straight into a 42 minute Ramp workout (2 miles) by Leslie Sansone (lots of squats and lunges, and I also used 3# hand weights) and THEN I did Cathe's 20-minute upper body weight routine. Whew! I'm trying to catch up from my prior slacking! I had only worked out twice so far this week, so I'm going to have to hit it hard tomorrow also. :dizzy: Let me tell you, I will sleep well tonight....my legs are like rubber!

i did my one mile Leslie dvd today, i skipped again yesterday :( so for last week I got in 4 days. My new mini goal is to exercise every day this coming up week,.. Ive got one day down, 6 to go. |

Today I did Leslie's 4-mile Challenge workout -- I just really love that one the best! The energy and pace are great, and the music is a lot better. Earlier I did weights -- bi's and tri's.
