  • I hope you all dont mind me starting up the new thread...I didn't even see last weeks thread to check the dates. Anyhoo...
Im FINALLY down from this plateau...2 pounds gone this week, for a total of 47.5...and only 2 pounds till ONEderland!!!!! I'm so excited!
    How are you all doing?
  • Oh, my goodness, Amy Jo -- I'm so excited for you! You're *sooooo* close to Onederland! Do you have something really great planned to celebrate it? I know I'd be so thrilled when I get there.

I'm 3.5 down this week, from 234.5 to 231! One pound away from my Halloween goal, way earlier than I thought I'd be there. TOM this week, though, so things may slow down to a glacial pace for a while .

Congrats again, Amy Jo. You're doing great!
  • Congrats Amy Jo. I did start the thread this week (Yesterday) and there was one from last week. I ll bump it up so you can check everyones reports out. I'll also put a note on mine for this week to post on this one since mine was at the bottom of the page and nobody responded anyway.. Would You take over this weekly thread? The next few weeks I am not going to be available. This is perfect timing. Thanks.
  • Congrats Amy Jo - You are so close to Onederland!!!
Jennifer - Congrats, we are almost the same weight!
Gretchen - you are doing awesome!

I am finally reporting a loss, after a plateau that lasted all summer and then some (at least I maintained! I am down 3 to 230. Almost in the 220's! I am going to Banff at the end of the month, I want to be closer to 220 (3 weeks to work at it) - there is this gorgeous size 16 dress that I am going to wear, and it fits now, but I'd like to still lose a couple of more by then.
  • I lost another lb which is kind of amazing because I am so amazingly bloated right now because of TOM. My waist is up 2 inches from normal, ugh. I started to panic at first because my weight floated a few lbs up then dropped to 298.

Oh almost forgot to add, even though I have some bloating right now, I am wearing a size of 22 pants. I think they are generously sized as all my other pants are 24, but i'll take it
  • Woo hoo Amy Jo! Congrat's girlfriend! You must be so excited about Onederland just around the corner!

Jennifer, your pic is gorgeous!! Hummina...hubba, and all that! And you GO with that loss! You're doing it, girl!

Raelynn -- I'm so happy for you! You have got to feel great...my hat is off to your perseverance and fortitude! Congratulations, and I know you'll get into that dress and look beautiful.
  • Wow you all are doing great. I am waiting to weigh in until this three week challenge that I'm on is up. I am tired of the scales telling me how I feel. So I am going to try weighing monthly now.
  • Wow, thanks, Sarah. You made me blush!
  • Excellent everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!! WELL DONE!
I'm still 204 - which means I've lost a big fat zilch!!! Its my TOM so we'll just see next week.
You are all doing so well.
    Big Love xxxx
  • Oh Gretchen, Im so sorry! I didnt even see it! Maybe if I'd open my eyes a little!! I'd be glad to do this, though, while you're away.
--Almost to your Halloween goal, and still 2 weeks to go!! YAY!!! Great new pic Teapot!
--Howie, what you said was perfect. "Im tired of thescales telling me how I feel"!! I LOVE that! I think you may be on to something there!
--Realynn, Dont you just love these plateaus? I think I finally jumped off mine (HOPEFULLY). Cant wait to see soem pics of that dress!
--Nelie, WOOOHOOO!! As some one told me here ( I think it was Celina), a size 22 is STILL a size 22...even if it is loose!!
  • I lost half a pound, not bad considering it's TOM. The scale lingered on 173 before going up to 175, so hopefully next week will be better
  • I'm down .5 this week to 260 even. I think my body is resisting wanting to get into the 250s. Maybe it's a sign I won't be there long and will be in the 240s really soon? Wishful thinking anyway.

WTG Gretchen for being into the 140s. You're getting so close to that goal.
Jennifer--that is awesome on the Halloween goal and I agree the new pic is great!!!
Amy Jo--Can't wait for you to tell us you've made it to Onederland
Raelynn--that is super you have passed your plateau. You're truly an inspiration. I hope I have the perserverance you have showed for yours when mine keeps lingering like it has.
Nelie and Lori--a loss is a loss and it could've been a gain. That could just mean you're going to have a bigger loss for next week.
Annie Rose--with it being TOM I think a maintain is great. I know some who can gain 5 pounds during it.
  • Hi,

    Congrats to all the losers!

I lost five lbs-my first week back on track!

    cw/208

Hoping to hit onderland (again..sigh..) by Xmas.
  • That is wonderful, Sherry! Keep up the great work! Sounds like a great Christmas present to yourself.
  • Congrats everyone for being a huge loser (I love saying that!!) I don't weigh in until Friday.. but I have my fingers crossed that I'll have lost at least a pound .. TOM is sneaking up on me though.. ick!

Jen - that is definitely a hot picture.. more people need to use their own picture! I love to see what other people look like.. make the internet feel less "fake".

Sherry - don't you love that first week back OP? I always feel like I can accomplish anything after experiencing a huge weight loss

Barby - I am SO impressed by you.. if I only experienced a .5 loss I would definitely quit.. you should be an example to us all.. you give me some perspective..I think you are doing a great job.. can I borrow some of that motivation?
