Hi everyone, I was searching for some info on pilates and tae bo and it led me here. I'm in the process of trying to lose weight and I hope that by having some place to share my thoughts and feelings will keep me motivated. So here I am in my weight loss journey. :D

thank you! I've been going around the website but it is a bit confusing because there are so many different forums. Can you give any suggestions on how I can navigate around here better?

Seriously; down at the bottom of this page there's a little drop-down navigator. Called "Forum Jump" There, you can see the names of all the forums and the categories they're in. That's pretty handy. Good luck!

in your user control panel, i think, there is a place you can
subscribe to different forums that way you have a list of the ones you like to visit most often.

Well, obviously we all reckon this is the best forum to hang out on, but then we are not exactly objective about that!!!!

So jump about a bit, see what interests you, and then keep posting....

As to the Pilates - I highly highly highly highly recommend it. I used to go 2 or 3 times a week, and it really helped to strengthen my core muscles (back, stomach etc), and made me feel great. Its also very easy to do whatever your size, and you can begin very slowly, and work up.

Welcome Skylark. I use the bar at the bottom like Apryl said and it works pretty good. Like the others said though, this forum is my favorite.
