Measurements anyone?

  • I took my measurements this morning and I've taken a few here and there for the past 3 months but never did a comprehensive measurement to compare to when I started going back to the gym and started my lc diet back in May.

    I've lost 38 inches total that i've counted, i've put my newest measurement in parentheses.

    10 inches on my waist (46 inches)
    10 inches on my hips (56 inches)
    4 inches on my chest below boobs (46 inches)
    6 inches around my shoulders (54 inches)
    2 inches x 2 on each upper thigh (29 inches each)
    3 inches x 2 on each upper arm (18 inches each)
    1 inch x 2 on each wrist (7 inches each)
    1 inch x 2 on each ankle (10 inches each)
    1 inch on my neck (17 inches)

    and 1 shoe size

    Anyone else measure? feel like sharing? If you don't already measure, I'd highly recommend doing so.
  • Ok...I wasn't sure if I wanted to disclose this info, but when I measured, I'd dropped a few more inches, so I figured " what the heck."

    Starting Measurement/New Measurement/Inches Lost
    Bust: 46.5/42/4.5
    Waist: 46/38/8
    Hips: 49.5/45/4.5
    Arm: 16/14/2(X2=4)
    Thigh: 31/26.5/4.5(X2=9)
    Lower tummy(baby belly):52/46/6

    total lost: 36 inches! YAY!!!

    Also, I had never measured a few places nelie did, but I was curious:
    Wrist: 7
    Ankle:9.5
    Neck: 14
    Shoulders: 43


    I sure hope some others do this too. *in best Pauley Shore voice* "Dont leave me hangin!!"
  • I suppose I should specify when I say "hips" I really mean my hips, butt, "lower tummy" or apron as some people call it. It is my widest point so I always keep track of it. My measurement of my wrist/ankle/neck is mostly useless because there isn't much fat there, but I like to keep track of it any way.

  • Ok- so I went back to the very beggining in my book and I have lost 55 total inches!!

    That reminds me! I haven't had my measurements done since I started back at the Gym on July 5th.. I'm thinking maybe I should do that, eh!?

    I'll get them done on Saturday when I weigh in and I'll check in then.
