Sorry I'm late on this one, I've been out of town working..
So you're a late night eater eh? Well... Try sleeping at night!! Just kiddin. If you have to munch, go for the complex carbs like sarah says or try drinking some hot tea. Hot tea always works for me. Freeze some and have tea pops. Sound silly but there is something about tea (for me) that supresses (sp) my appetite. Add some splenda if you need it sweetened. Sugar free popsicles are a favorite. I ususally must always have a snack around 9-10 each night... My body just needs it. I ususally have something light. Snacking a lot at night is just not good. I totally agree with Sarah, if you can change that habit... I would! I think you are off to a really great start... Take some baby steps. You aren't going to be able to "fix" everything all at once. Get your routine into place and go from there! Good Luck.. keep us posted. |
Dotty - What a fantastic idea!!! :D I'm so excited.... I have a can of Garbanzo Beans in the cupboard and was wondering what the heck I would do with them. I've never even considered that! Now I'm super excited to try them tomorrow!!! YAY! I'm gonna try them with a lil' Molly McButter, a tiny bit of Salt, and lots of Pepper! I'll let you know how it goes...

and i vote with the knitters/crocheters.. around here, we can get those freezies in sugar free... honest!!!! so nychick, since i'm in north joisy as well, look for them! i get mine in shoprite. |
Question - How long do the Roasted Chick Peas keep for in a Ziploc Container? I'm assuming at least a couple days, eh?!

You know sugar free jello is FANTACTIC. And also, it's good to try drinking a glass of water whenever you feel hungry first, sometimes that will make the hunger go away. Also, sugar free gum is a good one, I've become seriously addicted to it.

we are allotted so many points for a Day....... but no where does it tell us when are Day has to start, turn your day around! many of us have, some for varying reasons such as jobs or student hootie owl types who stay up late ~winks n grinz~
you stated that you eat about 10 pts after midnight till.... ( you didnt say) so start your tallying at midnight and then during regular daytime hours you know how many points you have left and count accordingly..but please dont forget about AP and Flex points. meaning if you run out........ get out and run!! earning yourself more points to consume ~laughing~ hope this helps along with all the other fab suggestions!! sincerely, sassy |

I usually have 1-2 servings of fruit at night w/2 cups of skim milk. Gets my milk & fruit in for the day. |
Gotta tell you... Ladies, if you haven't tried Roasted Garbonzo Beans (ChickPeas), its definetly worth a try. I loved them and they totally satisfied my "snacking" need. I did mine with lots of pepper so they were a lil' spicy... but I like my food like I like my men... HOT! :lol:
