Chinese Food

Ok- I love chinese food. I haven't touched any since March 8 when I started my journey. I haven't really thought about it much but I have been hungry for some crab rangoon.. Does anyone have any low fat alternative tasting food recipes that they can share similar to Crab Rangoon? I refuse to give in to the cravings but something that would taste similar but more healthy would be great!

Any suggestions? Thanks y'all!

Oh yum, I love crab rangoons. I don't have a low-fat recipe for them. I sure hope someone on here does. I would really enjoy trying it out.

You could probably use light or fat-free cream cheese in a won ton wrapper and bake them.

To appease my Chinese food craving, I get Trader Ming's Orange Chicken at Trader Joe's. It's wonderful! A cup of that plus a cup of chicken fried rice and some Asian veggies in Beijing sauce--really easy to prepare. I use Weight Watcher points rather than count calories and that meal would be 7 points.

I don't have any recipes either but I'll take a look and see if I can't find anything. I love Chinese as well. I did treat myself and went to lunch with a coworker last week and ate at the chinese buffet none the less. But what I did was get out my WW book and look up all the points values for everything and plan out exactly what i'd eat before going. There sure wasn't a whole lot. I love the wontons and egg rolls but for 5 points an egg roll I just ate one instead of 3 like I used to and skipped the sweet n sour sauce.
