We put our sweet 17 year old dog to sleep today. Thirteen years of companionship just wasn't enough for me, but, sadly, our pets just don't live as long as we'd like them to. She loved kids, and kids loved to hug her because she was soft like a plush teddy bear. We miss her.

i recognize that picture. i'm so sorry sheila. my pets are my children and although you have som real life babies, furbabies are just as dear to us.

I just found this. I am so sorry. It's so hard to lose a beloved pet. We know we don't get to keep them forever, but it still hurts so much. (((HUGS)))

She WAS beautiful Sheila, and so lucky to have lived a long, happy life with a loving family that'll never forget her.
