Totally OT - Children's Books?
Hi everyone!
I am trying to expand my classroom library for next year. In my state, teachers only get a small amount of money from the school district and it has to cover everything for the classroom for the entire year - things like copier paper and board markers and staples and pencils and pens. It goes quickly. Last year, I was able to buy about 50 books for my classroom with it. I also purchased another 100 or so off of eBay with my own money. Right now, my classroom has about 200 books. A good classroom library should have at LEAST 500. If, in the course of your spring cleaning, you find you have children's books to get rid of, please think of me. I am looking for books between 3rd and 7th grade level, especially chapter books. PM me and I will make arrangements to buy them from you. (Or, if you'd like to just donate them, I will gladly pay for the shipping!) Thanks! Jennelle :) |
I have tons of books I want to get rid of, but they are all for ages 0-3 lol.
Edited to say: I would keep look in garage sales, because I always see tons of books for 25 cents every year in garage/yard sales. |
