I hit the gym for my weights 3x a week. Tues / Thurs / Sat. My girlfriend comes to the gym @ 6:00 after I have worked out and both of our boys are in swimming. We have been trying desperately to get together to celebrate her oldest boys birthday. This weekend is booked. She suggested Tuesday before swimming. This is my very best friend in the whole world. I told her that I hated to say no, but I didn't want to miss a workout. I offered her next weekend and if that didn't work, Next week, I would switch my Tuesday workout to Monday and we could then do it on Tuesday.
Even though I know I am being a pain in the , I stuck up for me. I need to lift 3x a week, whenever possible. Sure there will be weeks that I can't for one reason or another, but I need to make every effort to stick to my plan.
