Welcome!!! I'm not Canadian ... I've visited a few times ... but don't believe I've ever been to Woodstock.

I doubt many people here were even alive when my momentous event happened in Woodstock, Ontario...after all, I AM old enough to have gone to that other even more famous Woodstock (now THAT was one cool concert!)

I was born in Woodstock, moved to Ingersoll for a few years and then back to Woodstock until I was 24 when I moved to Hamilton. I don't know if I would ever move back, it is a nice little city but you get used to living in a lot bigger city really quickly. I would be lost without a mall to shop in! Do you remember when Blantford Square was an actual mall with real stores instead of being a huge waste of real estate? I miss that little restaurant that had the great burgers and onion rings.

OMG, do I ever remember. I remember they used to have a little arcade in the mall there. I grew up my whole life just down the road from that mall. And now that Walmart moved out of there, it's a big waste of space like you said. As for the restaurant...are you talking about McClanes(sp?) burgers in the mall part or are you talking about the Red Grille that used to be inside Woolco/Walmart? McClanes is still there...or at least it was before Walmart left...LOL

OMG, McClain's (I think that is how it was spelled), yeah that was it! I think my mom told me that they weren't there anymore. Was planning on going down to Woodstock this weekend to see her so maybe I will run in and check it out. They can't get much business, the last time I was down there on a Saturday morning I went by and there must have been about a dozen cars in the parking lot. Did you live out in Eastwood? I had a friend that lived out that way long time ago when we were at CASS.
