Talking Secrets for Success # 26

Drink your water.....

"Water is truly the wonder drink. Everything about it is good for you. Water helps regulate your body temperature and keeps your digestive system performing efficiently. Your body needs water to flush out toxins. Water also breaks down fat, and your muscles need it to function properly and build strength. It also helps curb your appetite and makes your skin soft and supple. Although eight to 10 glasses a day is the conventional wisdom, don't stop there—drink as much as you can. Ideally, you should consume 0.67 ounces of water per pound of body weight; for a 130-pound woman, that's almost 11 8-ounce glasses a day. Wow!"...Denise Austin

Personally, I can get sick of regular H2O all the time, so I mix it up by using decafe teas....crystal lite mixtures, and soups. Perticularly in these cold months, I like to bring water to a boil, and pour it into a cup of sliced up lemons. MMMMMMMMM, sweet as can be...hot lemonade is just as goos as cold!!!! (It also helps with bloating)
