Since I am in the insurance industry I thought I would pass this on since rochemist had a tag line regarding mammagrams.

If you are going to get one.. check with your insurance company where the best place is to get one.

For a lot of ppo plans if you go to the hospital your deductible is applied. Generally if you go to an imaging center it is covered at 100% - that is how it works at the insurance company I work for. I just hate to see people to spend more on medical expenses then needed.

And if you're too young & they refuse you one, you can have an ultrasound done instead.
