if you like queen there is an awesome band around called the darkness very similar style of music and level of showmanship i bought the album today and its stunning. well worth a listen don't think they reached they're that well known in the states yet. but i'm sure they will be.

YES!!! They are one of my favorite bands! I guess you didn't see when I posted that I was all excited that my husband surprised me with DVD's of the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert and their last show from Wembley in 1986. Fantastic!!!

who almost saw Brian May in concert in New York City in 1993...but there was that blizzard with 36 inches of snow, and we couldnt' get there-and the show was NOT cancelled and rescheduled. I'm still mad about it ten years later! A friend of ours made it (he lived closer to NYC) AND met Brian afterwards...sigh
