Make 2017 Your Goal Year! Challenge 8/8: Thanksgiving Day to New Years Eve
Hey all!
Posting this early as I will be travelling and may not get the chance to start the thread in a timely manner.
Here is the final challenge across the calendar for 2017.
Here is her explanation of the Challenge: SmallSteps: I’m wondering would anyone like to join me in a yearly challenge? Now, don't panic at the thoughts of going into this from January 1st to December 31st! For me, it would be near impossible to stay focused for a full year so I have decided to split the year into 8 challenges or 8 mini targets to reach. Each challenge represents a 6-8 week time during the year.
Challenge 1: New Years Day to Valentine’s Day (January 1st to February 14th) Challenge 1
Challenge 2: Valentine’s Day until April Fools Day (February 14th to April 1st) Challenge 2
Challenge 3: April Fools Day until Mother's Day (April 1st to May 14th) Challenge 3
Challenge 4: Mother's Day until Independence Day (May 14th to July 4th) Challenge 4
Challenge 5: Independence Day to Labor Day (July 4th to September 4th) Challenge 5 Challenge 6: Labor Day to Columbus Day (September 4th to October 9th)Challenge 6 Challenge 7: Columbus Day until Thanksgiving Day (October 9th to November 23rd)Challenge 7 Challenge 8: Thanksgiving Day to New Years Eve (November 23rd to December 31st)
Weigh in days for challenges will be once a week.

I would like to join your challenge. I will be checking in each week to see if i reached my goal of 75 minutes of exercise 6 days a week. January 6th I am walking as much as I can of a half marathon in Walt Disney World. I will try and post my percentage of body fat lost as I measure it. Beginning body fat percentage 40.8.
11/30 Met my goal of 75 minutes of exercise 6 days a week last week. Will post body fat percentage whenever I get a number. Signed up for twice weekly pilates classes for the month of December. Hoping that will help!Hope everyone has a happy and successful week!
Thanks,
Dee

I haven't weighed myself since coming home from our Thanksgiving trip away. I tried weighing myself at my Mother-In-Laws but the scale was old and clunky (could gain or lose 5lbs depending on where it sat on the floor). After the second day, where I could tell I was retaining water I just didn't bother. For the 23rd I will put the weight I was according to her scale. The real challenge for me starts on the 30th!!
Challenge Begin Weight: 240
Challenge Goal Weight: 230
Challenge End Weight:
Hello everyone! My goal is to work out 6 days a week until NYE. Newly found gym membership and a month of free karate classes can NOT go to waste! Good luck darlings!

I went a bit over the edge last night....anxiety got the best of me. But I am back on track right away. My weigh ins are on Wednesdays so I have time to get back on this December highway after a minor detour.
You are doing an amazing job and have come so far!
Everyone, it is December! 31 fresh days to meet our goal!!!
I navigated a holiday party over the weekend and stayed on track. Lots of carb loaded appetizers followed by a pasta bar with no protein options, but I limited myself to small portions. It also helped that the party was kind of a drag so we left before dessert was served. lol
Looks like everyone is hanging in there. I had some very happy news. I have been thinking that my body fat percentages were awfully high. It turns out the machine was broken and when I measured today with my trainer it was at 31% rather 40.8!!! That is a first for me. I thought it was odd that when I measured years ago it was around 34% and that it had gone all the way up to 44%. The scale was broken so to speak!!!So I will be starting at 31% rather than 40%. Exercise has been good this week after a rather dismal week before. Nice to see folks checking in.

Hello to all~ For some reason official weigh in at Weight Watchers indicated a 3 pound gain! Unexpected, though I did eat a high sodium restaurant dinner the night before. I will continue to do what I am doing but watch that salt intake, for sure.
A bit bummed, but undefeated!
Ylime~ I just want to say I love your ticker! How did you come up with it?
Challenge 8: Thanksgiving Day to New Years Eve (November 23rd to December 31st)
Challenge Begin Weight: 147.2 (Weight Watchers - Wednesday Mornings)
Challenge Goal Weight: 139
