I'll try not to sabotage myself today and hope that this low number sticks for tomorrow.

Boop I am posting on my phone so I can’t see your ticker but does this new low weight have you at the 100 lb. mark?!?!

I did well this weekend. I had a piece of cake for my husbands birthday but I stayed within my calorie goals. Based on what the scale is showing tonight I am due for a nice gain but I am sure it won’t stick around for long

Good morning kfunk! I saw your post in the challenge thread first so yeah that puts me over 100 pounds lost. Next goal 160's!
I made a conscious effort yesterday and kept myself in check. Glad you were able to enjoy a piece of birthday cake with your husband and stay within your calories. That's great!

Here's to a great week!!

Hey all. I haven't posted since mid January because I had a mental break down and seeing my weight not decrease wasn't helping. But I think I've sorted things, for now. Not sure of my exact weight, but I'll assume it's 170 or just under.

I had a major win for myself today- I got on my treadmill and walked for 55 minutes. I used the incline and varied my speed. There was even a point where I ran 6mph, but it was only for about .6 miles. I feel super accomplished that I finally got up there and got on that treadmill. It's been sitting there for years unused. I have other stuff in there, too. A stationary upright bike, kettle bells, resistance bands, medicine balls, dumbells, aerobic stepper, and a tv with a dvd player and Netflix. I watched Schitt$ Creek- hilarious show.

Now I hope that tomorrow I'll feel sore. That is what pushes me to keep working out daily... to feel sore. Means I did something meaningful. I've been so sedentary for 6+ months since I left my job (and subsequently fell deep into my depression)... so I'm almost certain 55 minutes on the treadmill will be felt tomorrow.

I have half a mind to go to Target and get some cheap exercise clothes that fit. Sure, I have plenty, but they are too tight. If I can get maybe 2 pairs of shorts and some baggy T's, I'll be set for a while. Here's hoping it sticks. My brother and his fiancee are likely planning for a Spring 2019 wedding, so I should start now if I want to drop the 50 lbs.

Hope everyone is doing well and seeing results!

Hi tinypixiexoxo. Glad you are back and doing better. Good job on the exercise. I know what you mean about looking for that soreness the next day. I feel the same way.

It's so cold this morning. I didn't want to get out of bed. I'm sitting her with my first cup of coffee before I get in the shower to get ready for work. 172.6 today.

Thanksboopchick! I wasn't as sore as I thought I'd be, but my ankles were sore. Now I know to stretch and do ankle rolls.

Second day on the treadmill complete, albeit late. I took a looong nap today which messed up my flow, but I decided to treadmill while hubby was at the dentist. I ran 6 mph twice today, found it was easier. Heart rate jumped to 170;s during that, and then stayed consistently in the 130's when I walked (3 mph, sometimes incline). Looking for a low carb dinner tonight.

167.8 this AM

tinypixie I am glad that you are feeling better! Great job on the treadmill! I don't do it as much as I would like, but really like mine. I would love to run on it like you, way to go!! I love how you are getting ready for your brothers wedding now, I always had a tendency to wait until the last minute and then end up disappointed.

boop Hopefully it starts to warm up soon! It is supposed to be 41 where I am at today, which seems crazy warm compared to what it has been!

171.8 today.

173.2 for the past 2 days. I just got my smart scale last night but haven't set it up yet. Think I'll wait til this weekend.

NFTM17 I'm sure you can reverse that in no time if you haven't already

kfunk it's supposed to be 52 here today! You know what's great? For once I am not kicking myself in the butt for wasting time not losing weight before the warm weather comes in. I may not be where I want to be but I'm a helluva lot closer.

tinypixiexoxo you are rocking the exercise! So proud of you! I think you should invest in some inexpensive new workout clothes. I know how a cute workout outfit motivates me!

NFTM You can totally fix this! The good news is that most of it is probably just water so it should flush out fast. You've got this!!

Boop 52 sounds awesome!! We are back in the 30's today, but much better than the single digits. You are 100% right and I am very thankful I didn't put it off like normal! Last summer was so nice because I wasn't sweating my butt off all the time, the sunshine and humidity actually felt great for once. This reason was actually why I decided to stop messing around on the weekends and stick to the plan- I would love to wear shorts without feeling self conscious about it!

172 - this is just the scale being stubborn, I have been good!

Hey, guys! Man, things have been super busy in my life! No huge challenges, but it seems like a million things are going on at once!

My weight's been stubbornly swinging around the same 2 lbs still. I got super close at 150.2, but then it bounced back up. It's making me insane. I've decided to try monthly weighing for a while. It might be a huge mistake, but it also might help me not get so frustrated when weeks go by on plan and I drop no weight (which is getting worse the lower I get). If I never tried things that might fail, I'd have no idea how to lose weight like I do now. Hopefully this new thing will be a good tool in my arsenal, but you never know until you try.

NFTM: Slips happen. It's incrediby common. They can be rectified. You'll fix it - it's just a small setback.

Boop: Wow! Your weight loss is coming along great! And congrats on the 100+ lb loss! That's AMAZING!

tinypixie: Good work in addressing your mental health - it's so incredibly important (and eternally ongoing, of course)! I'm glad that it seems like exercise is helping somewhat.

kfunk: The scale has a mind of its own, I swear!

I started using my new "smart" scale. The weight seems about the same as my older digital scale. Not sure how accurate the other numbers are, but it puts me at:

Fat 36.8%
Water: 46.1%
Bone: 5.3%
Muscle: 29.5%

Looking forward to seeing what the trends will be.
