chanticleer140's by the end of february is a great goal and even if you don't make it all the way, you'll be that much closer!

I've been thinking this week about how much I miss having small boobs. Mine are significantly bigger now than they used to be (from the weight gain). It's less comfortable for me, and more awkward with trying to get clothing to fit.

I also miss wearing heels comfortably. Apparently weighing several kilos more puts a lot more pressure on my feet. Who knew?

boopchick: Looks like you're sticking to the 170s! It's so nice when you're finally in a new decade and not bouncing in and out (at least for me)!

kfunk: You're getting really close! So exciting! Of course, it can feel irritating when weight lingers juuuuust out of reach of a new low decade, but you're ounces away from the 160s!

I'm 154.6 today, so I seem to have made up the time I lost last week, which is unexpected and awesome. I'm more hopeful now that I'll make my goal of 140s in February.

boopchick: Wow! What a difference! You've made huge progress! You also look much smaller at 179 than I did! I'm a bit jealous

chanticleer that is awesome! The 140's are right around the corner!!

Thank you. I firmly believe that measurements & progress pictures are an important reminder that the number on the scale doesn't tell the whole story

Maggie Thank you! I miss having boobs with volume!! Congrats on your loss!!

boop WOW!!! That last 40 lbs. has made such a drastic difference, you look absolutely fantastic!!!!!!

175.2 today. I expect most of that to whoosh away this week. I overdid it Saturday and this is the price I pay, sigh.

Thanks kfunk! It's the first picture I've seen of myself in a LONG time that I actually like the way I look.

Does anyone know why a 35 inch waist is the start of abdominal obesity for all women? Seems to me that a woman who is 4' 10" would be WAY more overweight with a 35 inch waist than a woman who is 5' 10", for example. It doesn't make any sense that my friend who is indeed 4'10" would have the same cutoff point as my other friend who is 6'8". I'll have to look it up later, but wondered if anyone here knew.

kfunk: Yeah, I doubt my boobs will be the same shape they used to be after I'm done. I know for a fact they're mostly fat tissue right now, so I'm anticipating some major deflation. Oh well, better than being obese. Water weight can be so weird and irritating. But at least it goes away faster than fat does.

boopchick: It's nice to actually enjoy being in pictures. You look nice in both, but the minus 94 pounds one gives off the vibe that you're enjoying yourself more (I think it's the pose ).

maggie I can't answer your question, but it would seem to me as well that the shorter person would be more overweight with the same measurements as someone that much taller. Your question reminded me that it has been a long time since I have taken my measurements!! I will have to dig out my sheet and do that tonight.

I always said I would get a breast enhancement after I was done losing weight along with a tummy tuck. Once we are done having kids and I have maintained for a little bit I will probably end up doing something, but don't think I will end up getting the breast enhancement. I think I want to focus on having nice arms and legs instead.

Question for ladies about arms... I do not work out currently, and my upper arms look HORRIBLE. I am more self conscious about them now than I was before. They flap. Did lifting weights and working out help fix this, if it was an issue to begin with? I will probably start a thread separate from this as well.

173.2 this morning
