Good morning! 176.4. I bounced back up a little over 1 lb. but I think that is probably typical for a Monday morning weigh in. I indulged in a few things this weekend that I normally wouldn't, but stayed in a good calorie range.
Its nice to have a relaxing weekend from time to time! I hope that you see some nice progress on the scale this week!
I haven't gone down in weight, but this morning I pulled my jeans out of the dryer and they are really loose around the waist and I haven't even been wearing them for 3 hours yet!
Hello. I'm on the 160s Weight Loss Support thread, but I think it might just be me in there right now (I haven't seen a post from anyone else in about 10 days). So, I figured I'd see how this thread was doing. It looks like there are a couple people here at least.
I was 162.4 yesterday (my quasi-official weigh-in day). I'm at 164 today, but a bounce up like that from a new low is par for the course with me (even totally on plan). Now I settle in and wait probably 20 days before I get below my low. It's a somewhat stressful yet enduring pattern.
Hi, kfunk! How's it going?
boopchick: Nice to meet you! I agree with you on the importance of measuring. I am not a good intuitive eater, and I know it. When I don't measure, I gain. It's a given at this point. The nice thing is that we know exactly how to go back to losing weight - measuring.
Chanticleer Hi, nice to see you!! I am still struggling to get out of the 170's, but its not a race, it will happen eventually!! How are you? You are making it through the 160's quite nicely!! We have talked about how similar our losing patterns are, and I am hoping that I didn't miss my window this month by indulging in goodies!!
kfunk I tripped and hurled myself over the finish line. Loose jeans straight out of the dryer? Unheard of! Can't wait
Chanticleer hi! I have some strange losing patterns of my own. It's annoying as **** and rather frustrating at times. But it's better than where I was! Have you checked out the 150s thread? You'll be there soon enough. I'm so inspired and cannot even imagine seeing my scale at 164

kfunk: Definitely not a race! Whenever I try to race myself like crazy, I end up way behind where I want to be. Missing a window is so annoying! But it seems like you're maintaining quite nicely over the holidays. That's a good thing to be able to do (I get the feeling maintenance will be a big challenge for me).
gulfmagnolia: Congratulations! How exciting! I agree that bumpy loss is annoying, but hey, it's still loss, right?
I haven't seen an active 150s thread, but it'll likely be weeks until I'd be in one anyway. It is really nice to see the scale in the lower 160s - it's bonkers sometimes how much a difference even the last 20 lbs have made with my body. And between my high of 215 and here is a HUGE difference in how I feel! You'll be here before you know it!
gulf I am feeling super inspired lately too, I love these bursts of energy after a low! You are doing fantastic!! Today I am wearing a pair of jeans of Lucky Jeans that I wore in High School. When I tried them on back towards the beginning I couldn't even get them past my calves, crazy the difference now! They are TIGHT, but not uncomfortable enough not to wear lol!!!
I think I will end up checking out goodwill for jeans in the next size down. I don't want to spend very much money on clothing that I only hope to wear for a short period of time.
Chanticleer YES, 100% agree with that!! Its like my average slows to a crawl when I have a date set in my mind. Maintaining is super important, but I think you will do great at it. For me, I have been indulging in things I normally wouldn't, but then I do well the other days to balance it out. It is quite easy to maintain so far, but I would like to see a small loss at the end of the month. I wonder what it is about the Holidays being difficult? I don't eat very many sweet treats, so that's not it. I worry that I am just burned out from the losing part, but the past few days I have felt really motivated so I hope that feeling sticks around!

!
This is EXACTLY my problem! I get so excited when my weight starts with a 1, but I don't stay there or continue down. Continuing down has to be my new goal.
145 flat today! Woohoo!! Feeling good, haven't been working out much but trying to stay as healthy and active as possible for me right now. I've had some odd illnesses creeping up here and there, so here's to hoping that I'll feel better soon and start kicking gym booty!

That is awesome kfunk!!!!
gulf!!!
Great job everyone! I'm sitting at 189 even today. Hopefully my body will get tired of 188-189 soon and move on down.
chel3fsea I hope that you start to feel better soon! There are some nasty bugs going around! Your current weight is right around where I want to be!!
boop Thank you!! I hope that the scale shows a drop soon! How are your clothes feeling lately? When the scale stalls for me, I tend to notice that my clothing gets looser. It makes no sense to me why they don't happen at the same time lol
kfunk you're right. My clothes do feel looser. I'm down to one pair of jeans that fit. (For once because they got too big and not the other way around ) I don't know why I let the number on the scale drive me crazy but I do.
