After some ups and downs I needed to get myself out of a rut. I have a nice big steak dinner, hoping it would trick my body into releasing some weight. Looks like it did the trick. I am now 235.6. Super excited, I have lost 31 lbs sine November.

Here to update. I am now down to 233.2lbs. This is a nice drop after going back and forth between the few same pounds over a week. Even though it seems like it is taking forever, I know it's not and I am doing well. 220s, I'm comin' for ya!

Well, I'm back again. I'm almost nervous to post here because every time I do I somehow end up gaining and getting out of the thread LOL. But things are definitely different this time. With the holidays a distant memory and the cold temperatures limiting exercise options, I have had to refocus my energy to eating balanced, avoiding alcohol and sweets, and finding ways to move daily that I can, I have finally recorded my lowest weight so far in this journey. I'm hesitant to say I am just over a pound away from my halfway point. My hesitancy comes because I said the same thing in November and then probably gained LOL.

Hope to post more in this thread and see more people posting. Since it's a double decade thread I think I'll be here a while. :-)

Still entrenched in the 230s halfway to the 220s. I enrolled in the January Diet Bet so with a little extra hard work, I should be at 220 by the first week of February. Fingers crossed!!

I know I'm yelling into the void, but I just had to pop in and cheer. After many months of struggles, changes to my plan, holidays etc., and after joining the January Diet Bet, I have FINALLY conquered the elusive 235lbs and am now officially over halfway to goal!!!

Squeaky! Thanks for the nice compliment! We're in this thread together! We've got this!!

Diet Bet finished today and I did not win, but came in at 98% complete and was just 0.2lbs short of the goal. This month has been a great learning for me. I lost 10lbs total this month and they have been the hardest 10lbs of my almost 70lbs total. The previous 60lbs were courtesy of following a Medifast program and while yes, I did do the work, I never felt like it was something I was in control of or responsible for. I am so proud of these 10lbs because they are gone as a result of my choices and decisions. It gives me confidence that I am going to not only continue to successfully lose on my journey, but also lifetime maintenance is manageable.

So excited to be so close to the 20s!! I know there will be a slow down because the next two weeks have the following challenges: tonight's Super Bowl (going to a party and the past two weeks have been too strict and I know myself enough to know I'll likely go a bit crazy, but only today), later this week, I have to travel for work (5 days of catered/restaurant food and bad sleep scheduling), after that is Valentines dinner, finally a night away at a hotel. There is a Diet Bet that starts 2/19 which may be perfect timing to re-right the ship for my journey.

Hello ladies. I hope I am not alone in this group either! I finally broke a 2 week plateau of 241-242 range. I was 238 this morning. I am hoping that the 230s treat me better than the 240s! Hope everyone is doing well!
