Kukkie, I noticed that most of you had not checked in yet. I want us all to be together also and I guess some are just use to what they are use to. I too posted on SmallSteps thread. Then I went ahead and set up this thread due to a few wondering why I hadn't kept with my norm after all of this time :) I kinda felt happy/good so here's the thread.

Everyone post where you like :) I believe that accountability is the keep to our success ... we can do it together :)

love2b150 I'm here, thank you for trying to get everyone together.

imthegoddess a huge congratulations on the 8 pounds gone! Keep it up!

Hi again to everyone  Wishing all of you great success in February.

The last couple of nights have been horrible. On Saturday, I had to get up in the middle of the night to let out a night crew at the store. And yesterday, as per my frequent pattern, I slept 5 hours, then woke up and it took forever to get back to sleep. And the number on my scale this morning put me in a really foul mood. But I ate well, that's the only good thing about this day.

01: 231.6

Hello everyone! A bit confused about where to post too...so I'll just copy and paste everywhere :dizzy:

I weighed in at the clinic today and since beginning my program I've lost 4.8 pounds -- that was only last Thursday, so I'm tickled pink!

My food today was absolutely delicious and I had enough...still have room for some fruit today if I'm hungry later:

Rennie...as requested, here was my menu for today

Breakfast (437 calories)
3 oz flank steak, 1/2 medium orange, 1 apple, 12 slices cucumber, large coffee with cream

Lunch (320 calories)
1 Joseph's pita, 3 oz chicken breast, 2 tbsp salsa, tomato soup (homemade)

Dinner (404 calories)
2 Mama Lupe tortillas, 2 oz flank steak, 2 oz chicken breast, 8 oz grilled onions and peppers, romaine, 2 tbsp salsa, 2 tsp ff cream cheese
____________

love2b150 02-01-2016 07:13 PM

Please don't be confused. I will post here for sure.

Thanks Angie great weigh in :high: ... I'm happy for you that's only 3 days right? GO YOU! :carrot: I'm also loving your menus. I need to get some ink so I can copy, paste and print. I love that the calories count is there. It definitely helps. I did well today, minus a one hiccup with caramel corn. I only ate a serving but still I should have resisted.

FinallyFree 02-01-2016 07:27 PM

Ok Love2b,
I noticed you said your with me on the 15 minute exercise perday start.....I'm gonna do it today. We actually weighed in the same. And is this diet your on actually a 1 pound a day dropper, or did I read that wrong?

love2b150 02-01-2016 07:45 PM

Ok now catching up on this thread :) my first post was replying to you all that posted on the January thread

DayDreamer, you had a great month, that's 1.25lbs a week. I wish I had done that. This month will definitely be better :crossed: Nice weigh in this morning YAY YOU! :carrot:

Joe, I love the treadmill. It is and always will be my go to. I am gonna start trying other machines. I know they will help with toning and I do need to ease away from my comfort zone of the last 5+ years. :)

Kukkie do you think that you'll be able to do the 28 in 28? You eat really well. I think it's just eating out that gets you (lunches). Let's give it a shot together.

imthegoddess, great loss for January :high: GO YOU :carrot: I did well one of those January's but I am finding that with age nothing is as easy as before. I am also noticing that what worked before definitely doesn't always work again :dizzy: It's so good that you and your husband are doing this together. It does help. My husband walked with me n 2010 but he loss weight and that wasn't a good thing since he doesn't need to. So I found others to walk with but I lived in another state. I didn't get my first snack in today and I ate a not so great one after I got home. I'm just proud of myself for actually measuring it and not eating out of the bag. :) I'm trying to plan especially when I know I won't be coming straight home from work. It is a disaster for me food wise when I do that.

Trina, I didn't do my exercise this morning but I did go to the gym after work. I worked up a good sweat. I didn't have time to make the lemon water but I have already juiced the lemon for the morning. I had my coffee also and breakfast was my green smoothie :)

ap14, 10lbs, GO YOU :carrot: I have to say, I admire all of you that are disciplined enough to go to a restaurant order a sandwich and not eat the bread. Bread makes me  seriously. I can eat an entire loaf with butter or peanut butter, ha or just plain if it's fresh and moist, smh. :)

Hi Kris  How are you?

FinallyFree we are neck and neck :) I'm liking this :) Ok just saw your post, yes it's supposed to help you drop a pound a day with the lemon water in the morning/through the day, exercise in the a.m. (30 minutes) I need to start off slow (still not sure I can get up a little pass midnight to exercise) I'll have to go to bed at 6pm and 7pm is hard as you can see ;), sensible meals though out the day, protein and veggies, no carbs and then another 30 min or exercise in the evening and get all of your water in (I'm working my way up to half my body weight). OK really gotta go to bed, good night

OK it's 45 minutes pass my bedtime but I wanted to report I had a good loss also, not sure how or why but I am happy.
~down 1.2 to 176.6.
~gym 1.56 miles, burned 208.5 calories, in 30 minutes, treadmill
~water only 6 -16.9oz bottles
~one (two) unplanned snack but both counted on MFP caramel corn and honey crunch cashews

Hopefully all of this will get better as the month goes on

Good night

ap14 02-01-2016 09:41 PM

I'll catch up with everyone in the morning. I'm so tired tonight. I had my math class and photography class back to back. Argh. The math prof is great though - much better than last semester.

Yay, great loss, and great NSV :cheer3::cheer:with measuring out the snack. You've got this. And, I'm way older than you. LOL

Hi to everyone I didn't address personally. I'm looking forward to everyone's wins this month.

curvynotlumpy 02-01-2016 10:46 PM

Good evening, all:wave:,

I join everyone else in thanking Rennie for gathering us all together. February already and with a leap year, 29 days to get it right! I've been down with a stomach virus most of the weekend so I'll do a more complete check in tomorrow.

A good evening and restful night to everyone.

DayDreamer26 02-01-2016 11:22 PM

Thanks everyone :D

I couldn't fall asleep last night for the longest time and I feel like a zombie right now.

I was pondering ideas to celebrate my first mini goal. I want ... not a prize but lets call it a small celebration for my efforts. Hahaha I don't want it to be food related (AKA I'll have a donut  or maybe I should :p). Was wondering if you guys had any ideas. I want to get a nice hair cut (maybe even dye my hair) when I reach goal 4-5.

OMG! I saw THE CUTEST socks the other day, we were at a shoe store looking for shoes for the husband and I SO wanted them... They went up to your thighs and had ruffles (actual socks not pantyhose). I have ALWAYS want to wear stuff like that... But of course, there is NO way they would fit me.. I mean my thighs are HUGE, no even bigger than that :o! So I might do that as a later goal reward.

Anyway no where near my bed time but I am exhausted. So, night night.
