Congrats on Onederland Boopchick! That's quite an accomplishment!
Congrats on maintaining, Gemini6! I wish I had maintained but my weight ticked up quite a bit earlier this week (Halloween and stress eating took their toll). Luckily I'm back where I belong today and I am ready to start moving down again. |
Thanks tefrey! I'm sure you and gemini will be joining me soon!
There's not much going on in the 190's thread. I need some company :) I haven't had any significant movement the past week. Up and down with the same pound. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! |
Hello! I just posted in the 190's thread that gemini posted a link to. Doesn't seem very active at the moment so hoping you join me very soon!!
Hi. Thanks Gemini :)
While it's exciting to move into another thread I miss the support of sticking together! I'm hanging here for awhile :D |
Good morning! Just checking in. Tefrey how are you??? Gemini good to see you in the other thread now too!
Happy Friday! |
I'm still here! Congrats to you both on moving on. Hopefully I will be on my way soon.
Over here now. Looking to say hi. 217.8 and have held below 220 for the week. Planning Thanksgiving strategies. Mainly I think if I stay away from the sweet potato casserole and mac and cheese I will be good. Main goal is to enjoy time with the grandkids.
Welcome to the 210s Nancy! Thanksgiving is going to be a challenge for all of us. Enjoy the grandkids!
Hi Tefrey and Gemini6! See both of you on the end of year clearance challenge. I am pushing hard to get to onederland so I can get a new fitness watch! (My reward to me). I keep having to superglue the strap of my fitbit!
I keep having to glue my fitbit too! MY husband has a fancy Garmin for his running and he is not taking the hints that I want one too, ha ha. It's not really worth it I guess, unless I am running, but I hope to change that soon.
I need waterproof. Fitbit does seem to stand behind their products but sometimes the quality build plus I never got over the changes they made to the Dashboard.
We like to go kayaking and everything Garmin makes is waterproof. I may not wait and just plunge into the Vivoactive 3 and it takes standard watch bands, plus I don't like square watches. That means I can buy an inexpensive LEATHER band because I hate this silicone and don't want to put another $60 into an Ionic band to get leather. The "reward" for losing weight is wardrobe changes anyway :). The HR watch is a fitness tool, right? That is what I am telling myself. I would still be driven to lose weight and want to buy new clothes. The only waterproof HR fitbit is the ionic and for the money I think you get a lot more from Garmin. EDIT I have had Garmin car GPSs, Trail GPSs (etrex, foretrex, 60CSx), dog GPS (Astro 320) so feel pretty good about the quality of their build and updates. |
Sigh not a good week for me. I'm up quite a bit today, probably from having sushi for lunch yesterday. Luckily my husband's weight is also up so he is on board with doing better in the future.
I have had a bouncy time of it myself. I dropped again but then bounced up but am still down about a pound over the past 2 weeks. I think getting to onederland is full of challenges
I weighted in at 207 this morning. Looking forward to being under 200!
The holiday season has been a bit slow even though I have been good......203.0....Onederland is on the horizon.
