I'm here!!! I had my appointment with my gyno yesterday. He mostly wanted to touch base to see how my medications were treating me. It's been a rough 15-16 months. He wants to see me in September, I'm hoping to be down even more & in even better health! He was happy with my weight loss for the most part, but even happier with my blood pressure reading!
I'm going to try & accomplish what I can. I'm still battling soreness in my right rib cage area, evidently pulled muscles/tendons. Great...soft tissue injuries are a really pain in the backside!!! :( I did however walk today. Put in about 2 miles. But those 2 miles are here around my home which is "hill country". Some good grades to walk up & down on. I felt it in my glutes & legs for sure!! I don't weigh everyday. It makes me overly anxious & seems to bring out almost like an OCD-side of me. I prefer to weigh once a week. But I will note my progress in exercise/food/etc to fill my calendar. I'll weigh on Jan.1 & see what I'm starting with. Thanks for the invite!:carrot: *Plan to take a photo tomorrow in basically bra & shorts, so I have an idea what I look like & to measure progress. Little scared cause I've got a really ugly scar going down my middle from my surgery that I can't handle to look at. But I know it's better than what the alternative would've/could've been. So I have to suck it up & get over it. Make "friends" with it.* |

So years ago I found this place to be a great source of support... Started to get serious again a few weeks ago... Using a fitbit tracker and purposely taking time to care for myself. I am an emotional eater, have PCOS, arthritis and fibromyalgia. Starting at 254.5 # entering the New Year at 53 years old. Best of success to all

I have been decluttering since early this morning. Now remember I did that over Christmas staycation as well lol. I think that I'm done now. I just want to start the year off on the right note. I have made my meal plan for the next week for myself and family. I'm determined to stop mindless eating. The only thing that saves me from not gaining is after I do that I will throw in a fast two or three days a week lol. But don't want to have to do that anymore. So going forward keeping calories moderate. I hope that everyone had a great New Year's Eve. Mines was very peaceful.
