Hi Everyone.

I gained 30 pounds back and I'm 7 pounds from my starting point. I'm starting over. I plan to weigh in every week. I just need to get moving more and use my calorie app every day. I hope by coming back here I will be as successful as the last time I did this.

Martine YAY on getting back to your December starting weight ... getting motivated to actually go workout seems to be my problem also. Nice weigh in

Niki, to the thread Can you add something to the chicken breast maybe blend it up like a cream soup? Just a thought.

Volatis, I would love to (try to) go before work and get it out of the way but my gym doesn't open till 5am and I have to be at work at 3am so after work it is I'll get there I saw some really cute workout clothes at 5 below that may be my motivation Look at you GO ... nice weigh in

Joe, you are doing your thang Keep up the good work

Kukkie you can do it! Nice drop! We've been at this long enough let's make this our year my Friend

Hi JerseyPAGirl to the thread

DayDreamer, nice drops there

Trina, it's good to be back The temptations are all around, uhhhh ... my husband opens a bag of chips in my car and I wanted to put him out. He says, "if you're hungry why don't you just get something to eat!" I told him that I wasn't hungry I just wanted to chew something! Then I told him, "that's why I didn't bring you anything on my way in from work! I didn't want to smell it in my car " He just shook his head and closed up his chips, silly guy! Thanks for the and the vote of confidence I need them both

ImImportant to the thread. I'll tell you I have had so many re-starts but coming here on a regular does make a world of a difference. Wishing you and all of us much success on our journeys together

Well yesterday was a success though I almost ate some cashews. Not that I wanted them really. I just spotted them in my hiding place from the kids. Today is day two and it's been a tough one. I can smell everything that people are eating like it's in my nose. I need to up my water intake before evening since I have to go to bed so early (yes I should be sleeping now). Just wanted to report my first water weight drop of 3.7lbs almost at my ticker weight. Maybe tomorrow Well good night all

Hi everyone

I am reading everything though, and I continue to be encouraged by such a wonderful support group here. Let's keep pushing forward. Rennie, you're right, we've been at this too long and this will be our year! And we'll take everyone else along for the ride

Hi Kukkie, It's nice to be back, and to see familiar faces. To think, if I hadn't fallen off the face of the earth earlier in the year, I could be down where you are. Oh well, life happens.

For those who remember me, I changed jobs in April. It turns out it was a great decision. My work life is much less stressful, and less hectic. Almost too less hectic. I'm in a slow time at work right now. Before I changed jobs, I was walking with my office mate, and the weight was constantly dropping. I found someone to walk with shortly after starting the new job, but with our schedules during grant season, that fizzled. I usually stay at my desk all day even for lunch. I need to get up and move. We have a pool and a gym at work, but truthfully, I have gotten so sedentary, I need to build up to that. I've always told myself that i'm okay being overweight because I have no health problems, well lately, my blood pressure has been a bit high. Not high, but pre high. That's a problem I'm hoping weight loss helps. Ahh, the joys of getting older.

Good Wednesday Morning Everyone

I hope everyone is having a great week so far. The week seems to be going so fast lol. I'm not complaining and the weather has been decent. Decent meaning no snow just cooler temps.

Rennie on the loss, that's so awesome. That should make you very proud. You got this

ImImportant

imthegoddess I know how it can be to have a desk job where all you do is sit. My last job was that way and I gained so much weight. I switched jobs last February and it really has helped. I'm moving all the time. That's great that you have a gym at your job, that's really convenient.

Kukkie for continuing to check in, that's half the battle, the accountability.

hi to everyone. I hope you all have a great day. By the way what happened to winning15? I hope she's still here lurking.

ImImportant, it sucks doesn't it? I put 30 of the 40 I lost last year! But hey, this is IT right?

Rennie, !!!! You resisted Cashews!! You are my new hero. Lol I don't think I could have resisted those.... I would have just eaten 1/2 a bag I love Cashews... Glad you are almost back to your ticker weight though!

BigJoe !!!!!! So happy for you

imthegoddess, you might just start walking around your job during lunch for 15-20 mins? Or you could hit the gym at work and just start walking on a treadmill... that's what I usually do when I start after a while.

As of me... Well, freezing here. Bought some new blankets yesterday and now our bed is a little oven also got a mini heater (we got like a $170 bill from the energy company last month ). Also, since we moved here we have been couch-less and the ones we ordered FINALLY arrive today... SO exited! Just hope they are in one piece lol.

On other note, I haven't really been noticing the diet too much. I don't feel like I am suffering, I don't have cravings (ODD!) or anything like that. I think my biggest trigger is when I start getting hungry (we don't really have a stablished dinner time) and we are away from home or dinner is not ready... And I don't want to starve but I don't want to eat things I shouldn't ... Lol I start to panic internally and try to hurry so I can get back home.

But yeah, that's life... I need to start looking for a job as well, staying home all day car-less is pretty boring. Hope you are all doing AWESOME!

LOL Volatis on the chocolate biscuits My temptations today were sour cream and onion chips and cheddar bugles at Dollar Tree

Joe, I knew you would do it! Go YOU

Kukkie hoping things get better soon And I am so hoping to make it to goal by the end of this year. I think I can get close to 150 something by April but my actual goal will be hard to make by then unless I starve myself. Not gonna happen We can and will do this together

imthegoddess, sorry about the pre high BP. Now we have another goal to achieve ... I want to get off metformin and I believe that weight loss will help with that ... we can do this Yay on the gym at work! Now get in there . I'll tell you what when you decide to go let me know and I'll make an effort to go the same day, DEAL!?

Thanks Trina, I am happy that I'm sticking to plan ... though it is hard Thanks again for the what do you think about blending up all of my veggies, (no corn, no peas, no potatoes) and making them hot. I think I may add that up and see how many calories it will be. I don't want them to be too high. I want to stay inline with what I've already been doing. I have 8 more days to go before I add fish and eggs.

DayDreamer that is exactly what I would have done ... ate 1/2 the bag, smh! I am actually at my ticker weight as of today, thanks It's been really cold here and today my 2 of my kids school bus was an hour late so not good. It' supposed to warm up, but rain also ... can't win YAY on furniture arriving, no cravings and good for you on not eating things you aren't supposed to! What a great NSV! GO YOU

dcapulet, I'm gonna join you soon on the walks/jog (I can't run ... yet). I like your goals

Well I dropped another 1.2lbs of water down to 171.3 back to ticker weight . Since I bought the Ninja, I'm trying things that I couldn't stand with my regular blender, like blueberries. Gonna add my flax in and see y=how that blends Almost got all of my water in today also ... yay me!
