Getting out of the 170s

I looked and looked and didn't see one for the 170s, forgive me if there's already an existing thread.

Would anyone like to join me in here? I'm currently 172.6, having re-re-re-re-re-started on June 1st at 238. If I could be 169.999 by New Year's Eve, that would be great!

I've been counting calories and walking with fitbit. I have a Surge.

I started on 1,200 calories but the diabetes service appointed dietician (built like a twig, could see her mentally turning the pages as she spoke to me) said I should aim for 1,300, so mostly I do. She also told me to eat a few more starchy carbs, so mostly I do.

From June to November, my step target was only 5,000 a day but in December I've pledged to do 10,000 a day.

I just finished a 12 week gym programme referred by my diabetes nurse, and have gone back to the gym I'd bought an expensive annual membership for at Easter - only did 2 months, then had a big mental and physical slump.

I'm trying my hardest! It'd be great to have some fellow 170-ers to walk with :carrot:

Well, it's a little lonely in here but I'm keeping plodding. Down to 171 this morning - maybe that NYE target is possible!

Good luck to everyone. :carrot:

Temporarily slid back into the 170s - but I enjoyed every Christmas mouthful. Hope not to be here too long.
