Getting out of the 240s

The other 240s thread was at 499 posts when I was about to bump it, so I started a new one. Anyone else trying to get out of the 240s? I played volleyball with my husband for about 30 minutes today (just peppering for those who are familiar with vb) and then I did a VERY short ab workout on the sworkit app. I had a c-section 5 years ago, so my abs are pretty worthless. :dizzy:

Hi Noelle,
yes, i' ve been in the '40s all summer, gaining and losing the same 5 pounds. I had a talk w/my WW leader and she gave me some tips...more protein to stay full, ways to try to manage stress...so I'm really trying to focus and track and stay on plan.

I can't force myself to exercise, even though I used to love it. Maybe when I get down a few (many) more pounds.

Good for you, for the vb and ab exercises. Even 1 is better than 0.

That's how I've been as well. I used to play sports all the time, and now I NEVER exercise. Doing something I love will hopefully help keep me motivated!

I've been in the lower end of the 240s for way too long now, but with my newfound dedication I'm slowly creeping down. At 241 now and can't wait to be out of this decade.

I woke up today to find the scale at 240. Yay! Maybe I'll be out of here sooner than I thought.

ahh someone started a new 240's!! Had a rough summer as well and took 7 weeks to lose 5lbs because I went out of control with my eating but back on track the last two week. last week weighed in at 242 and weighing back in on Sunday morning. Also following WW

Thanks Noelle for starting a fresh thread!

I weighed in at 245 last Saturday and I'd LOVE to be out of the 240's this month.

 Some of you are SO close to the 30's! I reckon you'll be out this week! ;) ;)

noelle8310 08-13-2015 05:14 PM

I weighed in at 243.8 today. Let's keep it up, woo! Horo, you're so close!

Getting out of the 240's was pretty monumental for me the first time around, and of course I'd like to get there again. I've been hovering around 246 for the pat month, and I'm doing by best to kick things into gear. I'm hoping to see some progress for my next weigh-in.

We'll see! :carrot:

Sunshinie 08-14-2015 08:24 PM

I weighed in at 243 this morning. :D
(Secret ambition is to lose 3 and a whisker this coming week, but that's probably a bit ambitious!)

Anything is possible, Sunshine!

You've got this, Elladorine! I need to get my butt to the gym. I am literally counting down the days until my twins are back in school.

I'm out of the 240s today, yay! 139 on the scale this morning. See you all there. :)

Bumping this thread! I came in at 244.8 this morning, so I'm halfway to getting out of the 240s. I stalled for quite some time and then ate really unhealthy for a few weeks because I was like "screw it, I'm not losing anyway". But now I'm back on it, tracking on MFP, and I'm down to 245 from 249 on Monday.

Keep up the great work everyone!
