imthegoddess thanks! I go to Vegas at least a few times a year...I am Vegas crazy (fav place ever, got married there and everything) and I live in So Cal so it's an easy 4 hour drive

today I have dropped 2 pounds of water since last night - 2 more to go to be back in my comfortable, lookin' good range. I like to stay between 150 and 153, and right now water weight has me at 155 but it's flying off right now! (I tend to get along well with vodka on the weekends, but then I am at war with the water retention it leaves behind during the week!)

Picked up my Optifast today!!! :-)

@imthegoddess AKA LWG -- in regards to cleaning house. If I can pick up little odd items and the house is presentable within 5-10 minutes for company it's OK. If it will take me a 1/2 day or all night to clean -- I call We Clean America or other cleaning service! :-)

Martine surgery is no fun, but I hope it helps you.

Imthegoddess cleaning sucks, but I love how it feels when I'm done. Good job at trying to make good choices when you're out and about. So hard to do.

I seem to be starving today. It's going to be a struggle to keep my cal in check without using my workout calories, but I think I can, I think i can

SW: 237ish
GW: 228.5 (-9 lbs from my bloated starting weight, but really just a -4 pound goal for the month), ~1 lb/wk [also my 15 lb milestone!])

1 - NWI
I travel for work Sunday evening to Thursday evening, so I was still away on this day. I ate pretty well during the day and had a fabulous, indulgent meal during the evening. [30.43 exercise mins; 46 yoga mins; 2 of 58 veggies]

2 - NWI
Thursdays are breakfast sandwich days and travel days! I had both dessert and 2 drinks on Wednesday and we stayed out until at least 1AM, so no gym this morning. I did get in a 3mi roundtrip ride to volunteering at my local bike coop. [50.43 exercise mins; 46 yoga mins; 4 of 58 veggies]

3 - 237.?
Holy mother - I ate an ENTIRE pound of breakfast sausage today. I cooked it up at breakfast and nibbled on it throughout the day, as well as with two meals. No exercise today - I'm not too upset, because I've really been feeling like I need an easy day after eight weeks or so of 4 - 6 sessions per week. [50.43 exercise mins; 46 yoga mins; 6 of 58 veggies]

4 - 234
Guess my body was cool with 12234030004% of my RDV of sodium, plus whatever else is in your everyday breakfast sausage. It's also probably down for the eating dinner before 10pm and the generally reduced stress of a non-travel day. Still enjoying my break from exercise, and I baked spiced molasses cookies (all organic stuff, molasses and palm sugar as sweeteners). [50.43 exercise mins; 46 yoga mins; 8 of 58 veggies (and lots of cookies!)]

5 - 232.5 (Official Weigh-In)
Sundays are my recorded weigh-in days, since I am home on Sunday mornings (and the bloating and side effects of late dinners while traveling have usually cleared away by then.

This is exciting b/c I'm getting very, very close to escaping the 230's! That puts me just a bit closer to my next milestone weight and a baby step closer toward my 2015 goal (199.9 lbs). [50.43 exercise mins; 46 yoga mins; 7 of 58 veggies]

6 - 230.5
Hah! I can't help but laugh...not really sure what that loss is about, after 4 indulgent days off from the gym. The time off was worth it though; I had a very energized workout this evening. [150.43 exercise mins; 46 yoga mins; 10 of 58 veggies]

7 - 230.5
[185.8 exercise mins; 101 yoga mins; 13 of 58 veggies]

8 - 231.1
[185.8 exercise mins; 101 yoga mins; 15 of 58 veggies]

9 - 229.8
[185.8 exercise mins; 101 yoga mins; 15 of 58 veggies]
Not sure what today will bring for those activity goals (lifting session planned), but I might have shed a few actual tears when I saw the scale this morning. A 220's number. Whoa.

ayrenay yay to the 220s! That's a number I haven't seen in more than 3 years.

So obgyn is sending me to get an ultrasound, a colonoscopy (how fun...) and I have no choice now but to go on Depo-Provera to get some control on my endometriosis. I am dreading it, I hear people gain weight while on Depo, total opposite of what I'm working hard to achieve

Hey All! I've been a bit lazy about checking in lately, but I haven't been eating very well (I'm working on it), but its nowhere as bad as I used too. I have maintained/lost a little bit of weight on top of it too! Boyfriend and I went for a 3 mile walk the other night (just for fun, we didn't plan to walk that far lol). It was great! I am amazed at how far I have come! I could not have done that a few years ago! (Or I certainly would have been in sever pain later that night and the next day!) I had no problems! This weight loss thing and eating right might have something to it lol!

Hope Everyone is having a great April so far!

I've been quiet this week. Some serious clouds moved in on Monday and it's been a rough week - one of the roughest I've had with my depression for a while. Barely functioning. So strange to come from such a great weekend with the grandkids and my daughter to deep despair the next day. Today I feel like the clouds are starting to clear and I don't feel so "heavy." I'm thankful that, for the most part, I recognize those days are related to my depression and will pass, eventually. I'm not sure what I would do if I felt like this (and how I felt the last 3 days), if I didn't recognize that it's the depression rearing it's ugly head. Looking forward to the end of the week. I'm "this close" to a new decade (230.8 this morning). Hopefully I'll see the 220s by the end of next week.

Have a great day!

.6 pounds to my April goal! .6...Ah! That would be 15 down in 7.5 weeks. Guess I'm going to have to set a new goal, huh?

I also found out yesterday that next week is another no travel week for the project I'm on. I still lose, even eating fancy, indulgent food 4 nights per week in NYC, but obviously I am rocking it back at home. Very excited to see what next week brings!

Congratulations to everyone for your triumphs so far - big or small, they're all important. It also looks like we'll be having quite a few people crossing into the 220's this month. Woohoo!

I'm down a pound, not much, but still a loss. I'll take it considering my week last week eating out so much, and my weekend last week. I really need to kick it up a notch or two.

Thank you!!!

I hope that you'll be in the statistical group that has no weight flux on DP Even so, I bet your healthy habits will at least minimize the impact - then once your body's used to it, maybe things will keep heading in the downward direction?

Day #2 of Optifast :-)

07~231.4
08~231.4
09~230.6
10~228.2

Day#1 went very well; however, I did get hungry towards the end of my shift. I work for 12 hours. My last shake was at 9P and I don't get off until 11P.

imthegoddess - if you are not losing or maintaining -- you are gaining. I'll take a 1 lb loss on any day :-)

leith -- great job on the 2lb loss at the weigh in
