I had a great on-plan week. I even went out to eat on Saturday and still managed to stay within my calories. I'm hoping for 195 or below by my next weigh-in although TOM is coming soon and I always gain 2-3 lbs during TOM. Maybe this time will be different. We'll see what happens. Good luck VickieLou! I did great this week and even got down to 195.8 before the weekend hit and disaster struck. My mom did some Christmas baking on Friday and I spent the weekend eating it. Oops! I gained 2 1/2 pounds in two days. I'm going to try to be really strict with my eating this week because next weekend will probably be another disaster. I'm visiting relatives which will mean more Christmas goodies plus we are planning on eating at a Chinese buffet for lunch on Saturday because it's my grandfather's favorite restaurant. He's in a nursing home and doesn't get to go out very often. I need to lose as much weight as I can by Saturday because I'm probably going to gain it all back over the weekend. I'm just hoping to maintain for my next weigh in. I definitely don't want to go up into the terrible two's again. As much as I really wanted to get into the 180's by the end of December, it looks like I'll have to wait until January to get there.

AllyG47 I doubt I will get to the 180's by the end of this month either. Right now I will just be happy to be in Onderland. I'm 1 Lb away from my lowest weight of the year.

This weekend was a disaster. I didn't know it was possible to gain so much weight in just two days. I weighed in at 205 this morning. I'm sure most of it is water weight. I ate a lot of salt this weekend. I had McDonald's for both breakfast and supper on Saturday as well as 3 large slices of pizza for lunch. Then we had Christmas cookies and treats in the afternoon. Yesterday, I had donuts for breakfast, fried chicken and french fries for lunch, then had nachos and cheese dip for supper. We also had Christmas treats in the afternoon. I'm going to attempt to get back into onderland before Christmas Eve by drinking lots of water and sticking as close to my calorie range as possible. Next weekend should be much easier to stay on track since I'm planning on staying home.

Just want to commit to this group that I will not overeat today. I will eat according to my healthy plan. All this holiday excess food around is getting to me a bit. It is just not worth it. Keep going!!!

Made it to 193 in October, then stopped tracking and caring. When I went returned to my meetings six weeks later, I was 212. As of Saturday, I am down to 202. I'm hoping to make it back to Onederland this Saturday. I'm off work next week and I have to fight the temptation to lay in bed and not exercise. Wish me luck!
