well here we are in august. an over here on that rainily little island i call home its actually hot. like 96f hot. and they reckon tomorrow will be the hottest day in british history topping the 100 mark for the first time. and thanks to the support from this group i've actually got myself to a physical state where i'm confident to take off my shirt and let the public see me. cheers everyone. xxx

I was watching a program on the Weather Channel that showed Europe going through one of the hottest summers in a very long time. They started out showing wildfires and the voiceover said "Western United States? No, the South of France."

Some experts are predicting up to 80 percent crop loss from the heat and drought this summer. The only people happy about it are the vintners. Dry seasons cause vintage years for wines.

Enjoy it while you can, Si. Soon enough it'll be normal cloudy umbrella-toting weather again.

Maybe you'll have to post some more progress pics for us on the board. . . . .
