Make 2014 Your Goal Year! Challenge 7/8: Columbus Day to Thanksgiving Day

This is Challenge 7 of our 2014 Goal Year Challenge. Challenge 7 will be approximately 6 weeks according to when your weigh in day is and will cover Columbus Day until Thanksgiving Day. Everyone is welcome - you don't need to have been a part of the previous challenge to participate. Challenge 1: New Years Day to Valentine's Day (January 1 to February 14th) Challenge 2: Valentine’s Day until April Fools Day (February 14th to April 1st) Challenge 3: April Fools Day until Mother's Day (April 1st to May 11th) Challenge 4: Mother's Day until Independence Day (May 11th to July 4th) Challenge 5: Independence Day to Labor Day (July 4th to September 1st) Challenge 6: Labor Day to Columbus Day (September 1st to October 13th) Challenge 7: Columbus Day to Thanksgiving (October 13 to November 27th) Challenge 8: Thanksgiving Day to New Years Eve (November 27th to December 31st) Weigh in for challenges will be once a week. Copy and paste this format or create your own, edit dates to match your weekly weigh in day. You'll be coming back each week to update your progress (find the entry and copy and edit). This thread will be available for us to chat about the challenge, overcome struggles and celebrate successes. A new thread will be posted for each new challenge as they approach. This means the thread will not get super long by end of the year and anyone can jump in at any point in the year! Hi everyone & thank you to AAD for setting up the new challenge thread! I've lost over 30 lbs. since participating in these challenges, I need accountability. I will be going by my Columbus day weight, I wish all of us great success in accomplishing our healthy goals! <3
Challenge Begin Weight: 258 in my birthday suit on 10/13/2014 Challenge Goal Weight: 248 lbs. in my birthday suit lol Challenge End Weight: 10/13/2014: Begin Weight: 258 10/16/2014: 256.4 10/23/2014: 256.2 10/30/2014: 254.8 (major yo-yoing this week, glad to be this weight!) 11/6/2014: 255.8 (up 1 lb. but I was up more than that so still kind of a victory, eating poorly some days like pigging out at Red Lobster on 2 salads w/lots of dressing a bunch of their biscuits + 2 desserts, so yeah it has been rough. Today I am starting out the day badly eating some cinnamon crumb cake bought at Sprouts market 11/13/2014: 252.4 11/20/2014: 253.6 (I gained 7.6 lbs. over this past week, because of binge eating & probably PMS weight gain, so this weight is a gift! <3 ) 11/27/14: End Weight: 249.6! Super happy, even though I am 1.6 lbs. higher than my set goal, I am so grateful to be here and at this weight, it wasn't easy getting here, Thank you to G_d for everything! <3 And thank you to all of you for the support & encouragement, I am not sure where I would be in my journey without these challenges they mean so much to me *hugs everyone*. |
Hi...I am new here and was looking for one of the challenges I could join. I hope it is ok to join this one....I did start last Sunday but told myself no daily weigh ins that discourage me so I am weighing in every Sunday...I am using WonderSlim and some other diet products similar to it. I have an issue with portion sizes so thought this was the best way to go for now....

here are my stats for the last challenge Challenge Begin Weight: 161.6 Challenge Goal Weight: 155.6 Challenge End Weight: 157.6 09/01/2014: Begin Weight: 161.6 09/08/2014: 158.8 (-2.8) 09/15/2014: 161.4 (+2.6) 09/22/2014: 161.0 (-0.4) 09/29/2014: 160.0 (-1.0 10/06/2014: 161.8 (+1.8) 10/13/2014: 157.6 on the 14th I didn't weigh in on the 13th so I hope it's ok to use the 14th's weight as my end weight End Weight for the challenge. I loss 4lbs, 2lbs shy of my goal. This is getting harder and harder to do but I'm gonna keep trying :) |
