  • This is Challenge 6 of our 2014 Goal Year Challenge.

    Challenge 6 will be approximately 7 weeks according to when your weigh in day is and will cover Labor Day until Columbus Day. Everyone is welcome - you don't need to have been a part of the previous challenge to participate.

    Challenge 1: New Years Day to Valentine’s Day (January 1st to February 14th)
    Challenge 2: Valentine’s Day until April Fools Day (February 14th to April 1st)
    Challenge 3: April Fools Day until Mother's Day (April 1st to May 11th)
    Challenge 4: Mother's Day until Independence Day (May 11th to July 4th)
    Challenge 5: Independence Day to Labor Day (July 4th to September 1st)
    Challenge 6: Labor Day to Columbus Day (September 1st to October 13th)
    Challenge 7: Columbus Day until Thanksgiving Day (October 13th to November 27th)
    Challenge 8: Thanksgiving Day to New Years Eve (November 27th to December 31st)

    Weigh in for challenges will be once a week. Copy and paste this format or create your own, edit dates to match your weekly weigh in day. You'll be coming back each week to update your progress (find the entry and click edit). And this thread will be available for us to chat about the challenge, overcome struggles and celebrate successes.

    I will post a new thread for each new challenge as they approach. This means the thread will not get super long by end of the year and anyone can jump in at any point in the year!

    Going to hop on on this challenge. I think this goal might be a little too ambitious for the time frame, but what the heck? Even if I don't make it, I'm better off than I was before I started.

  • Hi everyone, and thank you so much to love2b150 for the shiny, new thread! I want to definitely post more this challenge about my personal challenges & things that positively or negatively affect my goals.

    Challenge Begin Weight: 263.6 (nude, with clothes it is 264.8)
    Challenge Goal Weight: 254.6 (basically trying to lose 9 lbs. in 6 weeks)

    09/01/2014: Begin Weight: 263.6 (nude, with clothes it is 264.8)
    09/08/2014: 263.4 (nude, with clothes it is 264.6) down .2 lb. As I expected to be up This week, .2 lb. Less is a victory.
    09/15/2014: 263 (nude, with clothes it is 264) down .4 lb. very low loss, I suspect PMS water retention.
    09/22/2014: 261.8 (nude, with clothes it is 263) down 1.2 lbs. using a scale this week, can't wait to break into the 250's G_d please! Lol
    09/29/2014: 263.4 (nude, with clothes 264.2) I had a bad binge yesterday and a couple of days before that, so not surprisingly I gained . I am planning to shake things up starting today.
    10/06/2014: 258 (nude, with clothes it is 259.8) 59 naked pounds to onederland! Praise G_d!
    10/13/2014: End Weight: 258 (nude, with clothes it is 258.6) 3.4 lbs.+ over my goal but I'm just grateful to be in the 250's and I had a couple of binges this week but I got myself back on track a couple of days ago.

    I didn't weight in this morning. But went to do it just now. After 'feasting' all day. The damage have been done. 190 it is.

    Nancy I had a feast yesterday and a bunch of junk today. I decided that I will start tomorrow fresh, making a commitment to ONE day at a TIME ... NO carbs/junk at all.

    I'm gonna try to check in on 3FC to keep myself straight and hopefully get back on MFP also ... wish me luck I desperately want to see my user name by the end of 2014 but I've got to work harder.

    Challenge Goal Weight: 158 lbs or below 170.6 lbs

    September 6, 2014: 173 lbs
    September 13, 2014: 175.6 lbs
    September 20, 2014: 176.4 lbs UGHH
    September 27, 2014: Not recorded
    October 4, 2014: Not recorded but somewhere around 176-178.3 lbs
    October 11, 2014: 178.1 lbs
