Thanks. I went to a Tapping (EFT) circle last night, we've been on break for the holidays and that always, always helps me. I instantly felt tension in my shoulders and back ease. I feel better today. I've just had so much coming the last two weeks with financial stuff, kid stuff and broken stuff that cost money and my husband is bringing in a lot right now, so it's stressful.

The scale went down .4 so at least it moved.

A whole food plant based diet makes the most logical, scientific sense to me at the moment but at times when I heard a good argument, it gets me thinking and doubting myself a little. I know I want to stick to this but because I'm down, it effects my confidence.

I'm feeling much better today. How are you doing?

Snowbound, I am so happy that you found a happy outlet for your stress and tension (Tapping - EFT what is that? I know I should google it lol)
and VERY glad your scale moved and became unstuck! that is wonderful. May it show an even better number for you today!

Me.. well my scale decided to be a pill (now I know why it was all over the map yesterday... it was afraid I would be angry LOLOLOLOL) but it shows that I gained 2 lbs.. so UP to 308 instead of down BOOOO and I have been on plan all week (Atkins).. oh well.. I am blaming it on the Full Moon and my hormones (even tho I don't get TOM). I think I will also drink more water today as that is the only thing I can think of..as I have walked more steps this week. Well today is a new day!

Those darn scales are a pain sometimes!

Today it moved down again 313.8, so that was nice. Today is my youngest sons birthday. So there will be cake! My biggest down fall!

Still in a freezer up here.

One of my girlfriends got me for Christmas time with a trainer. I've been failing at working out since October or so and so once a week for a month we'll workout together with a trainer.

Since my eating has improved slowly, my knee has improved slowly, there might be a correlation there. It's almost completely better. And I'm so happy about that.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) it's where you tap on your meridan points on you face and body and it helps with stress and emotions. It thought it was bunk to begin with but once I started doing it, it works for me.

It moved down a bit today to 313.6, it's not a lot but it's something.

I read this quote. "If there is no wind. Row." It's been speaking to me. Sometimes nothing is happening and I'm not getting the results I want so I become stagnant in my ways but I'm always rowing, it may not be easy but I don't give up, I just keep on going on and eventually I will get there. This is a journey and I won't ever stop, I will have bumps and possibly bruises along the way but I will get there no matter how long it takes.

Not sure how but down to 311.6 this morning. Met with my trainer yesterday. She's going to put a workout together for me that I can do at home or the gym.

Hello Snowbound! I am sorry I was away. For some reason I got a bad virus on my computer and I had to get someone to actually wipe it out...

Wow you have had a lovely week of scale smiles! Down every day these last 4 days GOOD for you! (me.. eh.. I had a bad eating day and back up to 308.6). I like that idea of taping on the meridian points (and chakra's too) and SO glad your knee is much better. What great birthday present to have a trainer for awhile. That will be awesome. Soak up all their knowledge as they are professionals and will give you alot of tips!

I will be back tomorrow (now that the computer is letting me LOLOLOL almost had withdrawal systems LOL) Have a terrific evening!

Oh good you are back! I'm glad. Scale was the same today.

Hello Snowbound and anyone else who might join us.

Snowbound.. I hope you are having a wonderful day and what ever is giving you stress/mind unhappiness - has gone away! Have you been able to walk? Knees still doing okay?

After my computer getting a nasty virus last weekend.. I got a virus (tho not the same one - thank goodness.. can't afford to wipe any memory from my brain.... thooooooooo there are some..... lolol) My scale is finally on its way down again (after taking aspirin for the fever and my Esperitox to fight that darn upper respiratory thingy) I an down to 305.8 and working on getting down to the 290's by end of month (if possible)

Hope you are having a terrific day and staying safe (with the HORRIBLE storms in the south!) and your Football team wins!

Things are good scale was 310 yesterday. Knee is feeling god, going to walk in tomorrow I hope if I wake early enough. Will write more tomorrow when not on my phone.

Oh the scale was very kind to me this morning. So glad down to 304.6 and getting closer to Twoderville... cannot wait! Snowbound you are right there with me and see us taking over the 290's thread really soon!

Busy busy busy day at work... I just hope I can get away from my computer and do some steps today! (Darn fitbit bugs me when I don't move often enough LOLOL)

Oh I had a nice and happy surprise this morning... I had a huge woosh 2+ lbs down..., I amn down to 301.4... Woot..., getting closer to 200

I stalled a bit, busy life and trying to keep it simple. Went for a big hike yesterday and hitting the gym tonight. Getting lots of sleep which is good for me too!

Oh a good long hike is great for the body and mind (when you are by yourself) and fun when you are with others! I am getting strong enough so that I am going to start walking outside and enjoy the cooler weather (and I won't tell you what cool is here in So Fla lol) But happy for you and I know that you have that trainer that you are working with. How is that going Snowbound?

I am working with my fitbit and have gotten at least 3.5 miles in a day and 8000 steps which is better than I was just 3 weeks ago.. Moving helps you move more!

I have to really watch what I eat lately. I always feel like I can eat more when I exercise more. I've been having the fatty things that I usually avoid a couple times the last few days. So that is my stall. The trainer we saw last night was great, I've worked with her before. We'll only see her twice but we'll follow with her a month, on a app and messages to keep on track. She gave up partner workouts that were pretty cool. So I have to go to the gym with my friend 3 days a week.

I woke up early and did some yoga.

Yeah, we're sitting at about -19°C today. Still a little chilly!
