Good morning! Way too rushed to weigh in this morning. Hubby is off today and is installing fixtures in the two main closets so hopefully we can get ourselves unpacked, finally. Maybe then we'll be able to settle into a routine!

I'm up 1.7 this morning, but I had three kids under 5 sleeping over last night, and this aunty didn't get any sleep! Hoping that's all it is! Have a good day everyone!
March 31st: Starting weight 372.8
Goal: 365
01 ~372.4 (-0.4)
02 ~374.1 (+1.7)

BuffieLynn good job on the 1lb down
Kukkie yay on the closets. Did you have to buy the fixtures or did they give/bring them back? Glad you are getting them up. And yay on hubby going back to work. Last time we talked he was still waiting on the dr to give the ok I believe. Things are coming together for you all, that's great
Radiojane, lack of sleep gets me every time, it will go away when you are back to routine
Olivia, I did a little jogging at the end remembering to breathe through my nose. It wasn't too bad, thanks
I downloaded C25K but didn't use it just stayed on an incline increasing speed, feeling good

Rennie - we had to buy them ourselves. The folks we bought from are going through a separation, the place was in the guy's name and the fixtures were taken by the woman, assumingly to hurt him. I don't know. Anyway, they're not cooperating with each, so there's little hope of them cooperating with us. It's been a week in the new place, so we just decided we needed to go ahead with it and see what happens. Can't keep living in chaos, especially with a 14 month old. Smh.

love2b150 - glad to hear your jogging went well!
Today was a good day. It was a rest day from exercise but I ate more food today than yesterday lol. Be nice to me scale lol. I like to eat more food the day before I do my long treadmill workout. My workouts are usually 35 minutes but 1 day a week I do 65 minutes. Tomorrow is the day. I've been trying new recipes this week and it's been nice! Today is also my "bread/starch/dairy" day. I try to only eat those 2 days out of the week (Wednesdays & Saturdays). Limiting those categories really helps my weight loss.
Day 3
Weight: 211.00 (-1.50)
Food: Vegetarian Day (lacto-ovo)
Breakfast - oatmeal with dried cranberries, pecans & maple syrup
Lunch - four cheese spinach & tomato quesadilla w/ sour cream & avocado; steamed green beans
Dinner - stuffed peppers with garlic bread
Exercise: Rest Day
Water: 2.00 liters

Kukkie people and their crazy issues, smh, that is pure silly. But glad you got them
Thanks Olivia , you're brave I would definitely be afraid to eat bread on a no exercise day. But you've got a plan and it's working so that's great and what matters

Yes, there are definitely some scale fluctuations because of it but they are short lived lol. The carbs really do help to fuel my workouts and I feel the difference in energy. For some reason, it doesn't work as well if I try to do the long workout on the same day as eating more food. I don't have the same energy levels as eating more food the day before. I do the treadmill in the morning. It's like my body needs time to feed the food to the muscles lol.

Trying to catch up on personals!
Angie - holy whoosh lady!!!! Good for you. What plan are you following now? I think I missed it. Are you still doing Dr. Poon? My hubby tried that for a few weeks, lost quite a bit, but he was irritated by the lack of variety.
Olivia - welcome to the group! How do you make the zucchini pasta? Someone mentioned it to me a while ago, and I really want to try it. Did you like it or is it one of those things you kind of eat because it's good for you?

April 3- Yesterday was a victory for me. I wanted candy so badly but I just sang in my head "first I was afraid... I was petrified....... I will survive..." LOL Sounds dumb but I'm done with that lover!
April 4- Yesterday was good. I got super snacky in the middle of the day but I persevered. Had some almonds and a cucumber Today will be much much harder. I have the state Midwifery meeting to attend and tonight there will be alcohol and cake and potluck for miles. blah. Having to drive home late tonight will help me not drink but the cake? That will be almost irresistible. Tomorrow will be tough as well. I'm the guest speaker at Cabelas and the conference room is RIGHT BY THAT STUPID ROASTED PECAN MACHINE. Those things are not healthy at all. I'll bring a snack. I may allow myself a diet coke just to help me through that hard patch.
April 5- I resisted all temptation yesterday. Ate nothing I shouldn't have. I survived! Today I have to survive Cabelas roasted nuts. LOL I can do it!
April 6- I have a class to teach today. I should be moving all day. I'll be starving when I get home. I needed a better plan! LOL I can do it!
April 8- Didn't eat enough during the day yesterday. Ended up eating a double handful of almonds last night. Too much salt. Have to get back on the wagon today.
April 9- Ugh... up another pound and a half today. I have to up my efforts today I guess. I don't know what's happening.

Kukkie - I used a vegetable peeler to thinly slice the zucchini like fettuccine. Then I made a marinara sauce in my Vita Mix that consisted of fresh tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, fresh garlic, basil, oregano, black pepper, sea salt, red peppers, and cayenne pepper. I blended it and mixed it with the zucchini shreds and it was very delicious! I was pleasantly surprised with all the food I ate on my Raw Foods Day. I was expecting things to be bland but they really weren't! They were flavorful and good! I would definitely make that again! I have a whole book to try recipes from though so I'll probably do something different next Tuesday.

Rennie I miss sleep, I do. It makes me foggy in the mornings. But hey, down is down right?
Wahine yayyy for a new pant size!
Bunny good for you on resisting the candy. I love that song, glad you found a way to use it to fight the temptation.
Olivia Thanks! I may finally get around to trying it. Sounds really really good
Me, well, I forgot to weigh in again this morning. Hopefully the hubby will finish putting up shelves and closets today and then we can finally get settled. It's never taken me so long to get unpacked in a new place. I'm actually kind of annoyed right now. It will come, it has to, right?
