So, I finally made it to the 230s today. I made it yesterday I think but I didn't believe it so I weighed again today. I am hoping this decade will be smooth sailing because I am ready to get to goal 1.

Jenni: Hey, I'm here.

I am barely hanging in at 239.6. I've been a little stuck the past couple of weeks, but I also haven't been as great on plan with food as I should be. Nothing horrible, but just not as disciplined as before, so I'm going to buckle down this week and get back to losing!! Exercise has been good, but just not being as committed to food plan as I should!!!

Hey peeps!

I'm OK. Kinda a crap eating day today, but... Not as bad as I'm capable of when I totally say screw it, so... Changes are happening. I'm not giving up over it.

So, I'm curious... What works best for YOU? Low carb or Intermittant Fasting? Anyone here tried both? I''m ready to step up my game!

Thanks for the warm welcome all. I'm holding steady. I think I am going to try to get more green leafy vegetables in for the next couple of weeks. They are really helping my stomach,

Bama I like low carb mixed with Intermittent fasting. I am doing Ideal Protein right now and I think the couple fast days I did really helped me.

I did IF without low carb before it just helped to maintain. I didn't lose until I cut carbs. I didn't even need to do it every day either.

I've never tried IF. And although I am not following a specific plan for low carbs, I do try to limit them. I can't give it up completely, but just try to make better choices.

I have never heard of IF or Ideal Protein...LOL

I am doing carb cycling and calorie cycling ...so Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday are all low carb....Wednesday Saturday and Sunday high carb...Sunday is also a reward meal...Everyday is 1200 except Wednesday and Sunday Wednesday is 1500 Sunday is a little above 1500.

Hi everyone!

Just a sad little update from me. One of our kittens (wicked little beasties) chewed through my computer cable and I'm relegated to just my iPhone until the new charger comes-- hopefully this afternoon!!

That being said, WHOOSH!! I'm down 2 pounds this morning! Yay!!

So, I survived my first full day of low carb! I did it! And I exercised! And I feel pretty good!

I finished the day with 19g of carb, 81g protein (say what?!) and 1262 calories for the day (962 net after the exercise)... I'm proud because I thought I'd be DYING at this point, wanting my comfort foods, but... I'm fine.

Yay! Tomorrow's another day, though, so I hope I stick with it. Plus, I have class all day tomorrow and then clinical Friday so it makes healthy eating a challenge.

Yay Jen! You'll been in the next decade in no time.

Bama good for you. I hope it works out for you. The good thing is there are many low carb recipes for most comfort foods.


So I weighed at 237 today AND I fit into a pair of pants I have been saving all year. I've got a pretty ombre shirt that I'm almost in as well. Woot!
