I am perimenopausal (also 47) and I blame hormones for absolutely everything. I have no words of wisdom for you but I understand the headaches, the fatigue, the brain fog (that is kind of a permanent thing for me right now). My weight loss has stalled, plateaued or whatever you want to call it and it is all because of hormones. I can lose 4 or 5 pounds and then as soon as TOM (very heavy, miserable TOM) arrives those 4 or 5 pounds are back. I have cut calories, added calories, worked out more, worked out less and I am stuck. Last year TOM came whenever it felt like it - 20 days, 60 days, but I was losing weight. Now it is regular as clockwork again and can't lose a pound.
Maybe someone will have some advice for us.
