I was down to 196.5 on Saturday, but we had a birthday party and it got late and there was cake and too much food. And I didn't even think twice. Sigh. Didn't weigh in yesterday, but I did this morning at 198.3. I have lunch and snacks and will drown myself in water.

Rennie haven't had a chance yet, but I will today!

Angie awww, pup! Your little guy must be loving him. How old is he now, 8-9ish?

I finally remembered to weigh in (after 2 bites of breakfast) and I'm back down to 235.6, so not too bad since this weekend was so hectic and I ate lots of 'wrong' things.

I'm up 1.6 to 167.2. I had a bunch of junk yesterday and then went to iHop late last night and had 3 pancakes with regular syrup. So I expected more of a gain than that since I only got a little over 6 hours of sleep. Today is a fasting day.
Rennie -- He is a 7 week old Beagle/Blue Tick Hound, his name is Jigsaw because his markings kind of look like puzzle pieces. The puppy is totally on Cam's nerves..lol, but he is learning to tolerate him. Sorry about the gain, do you do fasting days often?

Im thinking about going to the mall to walk 3 days out of week. It seemed like when I was at the mall yesterday that it didnt take as long to walk for an hour and 1/2 there then it does when I walk for 45 mins here at home. Im still gonna walk at night though.
Terra -- Yes, we are out for (very short) walks constantly; I'm looking forward to when he is old enough to go for a long brisk walk, it will do us all good.

Kukkie -- Cameron is 9 now, he is so frustrated with the puppy -- he has sharp little teeth and bites a lot; he likes showing him off to the neighbours though! I hope your little 'puppy' is growing and doing well too! I ate cake last weekend at a bridal shower...I don't know why it's so darn irresistible!

Terra walking in the mall is nice. I'd like to go in the early morning and walk with the other walkers but it's not close so that won't happen ... enjoy

jodoto, you are doing great ... what is your goal for March? Keep up the good work

ushotmedown, look at you go Keep up the good work

Angie that's funny about Cam and Jigsaw ... they all wants pets until they find out just how much it entails Rissa keeps asking for a pet, you should hear the promises as to what she will do for it, too funny. No I don't fast often. That was my first attempt in a long while and I blew it. I am going back to no pasta, rice, bread, junk food. I didn't know Cam and Rissa (she'll be 11 in January) were so close in age (or maybe I just forgot).

Well as I said I am going back to what I did in January and I hope I can get this mind right so that the body can get healthy. I don't understand why I do soooo good and then just eat anything like it's ok and expect (in my head) not to see a change ... hopefully I'll learn this time

Good morning Everyone, Hope you are doing well and today finds you in good spirits, with a new number on the scale

I finally ate OP and got up to a drop in water of 1.6. I'm happy. I plan to go to the gym today, to help move things along. I had a good OP breakfast and plan to finish the day out strong. I hope you all do the same.

Enjoy your day

Angie, congrats on the new puppy Puppy love is so fun....my "puppy" is 6 years old and I'm still in love like day 1!

jodoto, you are making awesome progress! Way to go!

kukkie, you will overcome the bounce! I have had a 5 pound bounce since last week but just gotta keep moving ahead... ugh.

Terra, walking at the mall sounds good. During the winter when I was in New England for a project, I would walk the mall at night and look at the stores/clothes I hope to be in someday. Was inspiring!

Rennie, you did amazing in January (and so did I). We both need to find that motivation and get back there. I feel mine coming soon.

As for me, I did have an upswing of 5 pounds last week....lots of water weight as I did not binge eat or anything. This week I have been on plan and I did workout It's only Wednesday but the weather looks nice this weekend so I hope to get in a few miles!

Thanks akelly we did didn't we good to see you Love the positivity I am trying to get back what I had in January today is day two I haven't ate anything off plan (I did put a few grains of rice in my mouth) the rice cooker went off too fast, not sure why? maybe we need a new one. I have some biscuits in the oven and they smell so good but I won't dare touch them other than to butter some of them. I got my walk in 3.52 miles my burn was 315.2 not too shabby I hope it pays off I still have another 24ozs of water to drink.

Have a great day

Hey everyone!

Work has been quite busy and Peanut is refusing to sleep on his own lately. Not sure if it's time for him to transition to one nap. The good news is that we managed to get him into daycare, close to my work and close to the new home! And he'll start right after we move (13 days left). It'll be a lot of change for him at once, new home, new routine, new people - I'm a bit worried, but hubby tells me it's better to do all the change at once, instead of settling into the new place and then starting daycare.

My weigh-in has consistently been 198.3 for the past few days. Doesn't help that we had pizza last night. I can't wait to start working out again, I miss the burn, I miss that good sweat.

Hope you guys are doing well.

Good morning friends

Kukkie, yeah I think all the change at once will help....everything "new" will be lumped together so eventually it all becomes the norm. Kinda like ripping a band aid off I guess, but I'm sure it's tough.

Rennie, great job! Proud of you for not eating the biscuits! Those are a weakness of mine....along with most everything else in the bread family, haha.

Gosh, I'm ready for spring to consistently be here. Getting a taste of running outside, then being stuck inside for the next several days while its windy and cold is NOT making me happy! I think the whole country is ready for the warm up!

Kukkie, I have to agree with your husband all at once is better and Peanut's young so that will be all the better. I honestly use to keep my kids up I wouldn't let them nap in the late afternoon/early evening when they stopped sleeping through the night. It would be so funny to watch them fight but it was so worth it for them to sleep all night I think once you move and get settled you'll start to see changes. I remember when you moved before it was a happy time but still stressful

akelly, I honestly thought I was going to go stir crazy last night I went in the refrigerator and pantry so many times it was crazy. There were 7 biscuits left so I had to wrap them up before bed LOL a small piece from the bottom stuck to the pan from two of them and I thought that won't hurt, smh. But I knew had I ate those thin layers it would have been all over (BIG SIGH) I'm ready for spring also. It was so nice up through midday yesterday. Before church the temperature dropped and then on the way it rained so hard I thought I was in SC/FL we couldn't see a thing. Then got up this morning to 34 degrees and windy as can be. I like the 70's temps, not to hot just right

I'm hoping to stay OP today. We went to the gym I only did 2.5 miles and burn according to the treadmill was 258. I ate raw baby carrots for the first time (well I tasted a piece before) today I ate 1.5ozs with some spinach dip that wasn't very good but I finished the carrots so that's a plus. I only like carrots cooked in a stew or soup, no nutritional value at that point
