Mid-week check in, and very happy to see 214 lbs. on the scale this morning. That's 1½ lbs since my official weekly weigh-in on Monday, so still on track to hopefully succeed at this challenge. This is the least I've weighed in probably 13 or 14 years. I thought I was hallucinating when I saw that number on the scale.
Loving reading about the new lows, the so-closes, the movements, etc. We got this!
My weekly weigh-in yielded a good number for me - 213½ lbs, which is a 2 lbs weight loss from the previous week, yay! Two diet challenges coming up soon are: Halloween and my birthday. Yikes.
Thanks for your motivational words Llilith! Your progress is amazing, it seems like you're sailing through your 200s (but I know that really you're working hard, as are all of us!) and you'll be in wonderland in no time! As you said to me, by now it's probably all you and the phen isn't making too much difference, so I'm sure even with a lower dose your hard work and willpower will see you through the holidays no problem!
Well done TooWicky, doing great! And cleancowgirl you can do it!!!!
My progress was slow this week, down 1.4 pounds, which could be due to water weight as it's that time again, but even still, it does now put me at slightly over half way to my onderland goal, so I'm sure I'm still on track as I have about two months to lose the rest...just dreading a plateau!
Jen you are still doing good. I go through that too, think our body has to get use to a set point. I have read about every 20 lbs our body has to adjust. I bounced between the low 220's for two weeks and then it started flowing again.
Weight still holding at 218.3. I was 217.2 yesterday but due to working night shift did not get all my water in so drinking up today. I did go for my 5 mile run and today ran for 2 miles without stopping. I feel awesome doing it! Christmas is aprox 8 weeks away and got a little over 18 lbs to lose but thinking I might be able to do this if not I will be there by New years!
My dh comes home today from his 3 week hunting trip. I have lost 6 lbs since he left and also got some new size 16 jeans that fit well. I feel like I am making so much progress lately.
Happy Halloween Everyone! Weight is at 216.7 ! Yea me! When I joined the challenge did not think I could begin to make this challenge but I am thinking it could be possible. Everyone is doing Fantastic! Woot Woot!!
Great to hear your news cleancowgirl, and thanks for your words of encouragement!
I'm happy to report I completed my first challenge, which was to be 215 by Halloween. I was 215.6 on Monday so I didn't think I'd make it but then I had a whooshy few days and weighed in at 214.2 today! So I lost the same amount in 3 days as I lost all week last week! It must have been water weight I guess.
Now, I have just under 8 weeks to lose 15 pounds which I think is do-able...
Checking in with my mid-week progress: I'm at 212 ½ lbs. That's down a pound from Monday, which is my official weekly weigh-in day. I'll take that! It's still going to be reeeeally tight to make this challenge. I could use a whooshy week to help things along.
Amazing cleancowgirl!! Well done on 60 pounds down, that is such an achievement in just a few months!
Wishing you lots of luck and lots of whooshy weeks in the run up to the big day, TooWicky and cheeriloos!
I weighed myself today and was down to 213.4, so I'm 0.4 pounds off a total loss of 50 pounds since July 1st - sooo close!! And, that's 2.2 pounds in the last week so I'm pleased with that!
