I'm in. I posted in this thread for awhile last year, but then I got sick and backslid and stopped visiting 3FC altogether. I'm trying to climb back into the saddle, but I'm not weighing right now. At the moment I just want to focus on feeling good and making good choices and not beating myself up about how much I weigh. If I get through August without another backslide, I'll weigh myself and put my ticker back up.
I know just as well as the rest of you that this community is essential to success, so I am committed to checking in. This thread is a great way to make sure I do it.

Well I did get back into the 280s today, but still .2 above where I was, so no 10 lb star for my weigh-in this week. I'll get it next week.
I'm annoyed with the WW weight tracker anyhow because it says you can weigh any time in the week, but when I enter my weight for today, it just deletes my entry from last Saturday. I guess what they mean is you can weigh-in any time LATE, but you can't weigh-in early.
I'll be in Atlanta for a wedding this weekend. The first of 3 major events in August. I will NOT eat my way through the weekend! My hotel is right next to a grocery and a subway (so weird to be renting a hotel room in my old neighborhood) so I'll be good. Tomorrow, I want to make time to visit my old favorite running trail. I can't run right now, but it'll be a decent walk anyhow.

Well I'm proud to say that for the first time in forever I was a lower weight than my end of the month weigh in. I was 188.2 this morning and quite happy. I am trying to pay attention to what I put in my mouth and so far it is working. What I have at the house that is healthy to eat is dwindling down so I'll have to be super careful the next three days, focus and do a lot of talking to myself to stay on point. Wish me luck.

Thanks Ashley, and you know you can go ahead and take that 10lb mark, claim it ... it is yours.
NSV for me ... those of you that have known me over the years know that I absolutely love store bought birthday cake icing, the white real icing not the butter cream. Well we went to my Auntie's this evening and one of the younger cousins was celebrating his 13th bday and I was offered cake and ice cream along with the kids and I said, NO!!! and then a place was made for the boys since they didn't come. I peaked in and looked at it and almost stuck my finger in the icing but NOPE. I am so so proud of me. I think I can really do this. Maybe I have grown up a little in the last week

Hi everyone! I check my weight twice a day, everyday. I'll only post my morning numbers. I've been pretty stuck for most of June and July, I've only lost 10 pounds in that time. Before that I was averaging 7 a month. I'm annoyed that the scale has stopped moving. I have plans and if one more doctor says 'Lose weight' I'm going to scream. Apparently a 40 pound loss isn't enough to stop them hounding me. Oh well, I sound like a negative nelly right now but I promise I am a chipper, happy camper.

Rennie, that is awesome. I love that icing too so I know how hard it is to resist. Great job!
There were two dozen cupcakes at work yesterday so I just stayed out of the room they were in. I think I'm finally in a place to get back on track.

I stayed the same today 188.2 I'm not mad though because that's three days in the 180 's which for me is a current record I think the problem is I didn't drink enough water yesterday because usually I am up a few times at night and that didn't happen last night. I know that's not good but that's how I can tell my fbs was high this morning I can't remember what it said but I know it was high.
I had another food NSV ... the kids had potato salad for lunch another weakness of mine and instead of me eating a Dixie cup of it (that's my small taste of it) because I can eat a whole bowl ... I cleaned the container with a napkin and threw it away. to me again.

OK new goal is to see 187.2 so I will be down 10 lbs then I'll shoot for 185. Lets see if I can keep this train of thought up

Gmornin ladies-
Sorry for the absence but im hoping to get back on track a.s.a.p.
I left my husband on the 23rd of July after almost 28yrs of marriage. Our 14yr old daughter and i moved into my parents basement. Its going to take some adjusting but its been a long time coming and the kids are good with my decision and said their selves it should have happened a looong time ago. Our oldest quit talking to us about 2yrs ago because of problems his dad caused and my 19 yr old was never around anymore because he didnt want to be around his dad and the same with our daughter so that meant i never got to see my kids anymore and they are the only good thing that man ever gave me and are my life so... i did what i had/needed to do and i will be fine and my kids are back in my life!
