I have been HORRIBLE this week, I haven't counted a calorie, I haven't drank more than a few sips of water, I am certain I have eaten half my weight in candy (ok that is a bit of an exaggeration but it's been bad).

TOM showed up early, my thighs hurt horribly since Thursday night at the parade when I did lots of "follow me" songs with my Girl Scouts.... I feel like I did hours of squats with 500 pound weights on my shoulders, so I haven't done crap for exercise since because I couldn't handle the pain.

Today, it's back on plan! 100%

Oh gosh... I don't want to leave you Lovely ladies!.... But 2 days in the 240's (second time around for me.. now on the new scale) - today I am at 249 flat (235 on my old scale which brings a HUGE smile on my face ... 20 years ago I was this weight and lessl.. so loving the loss of 20 years of gains! WOOHOO.

I am going to head into the 240's... but I will still will be rooting and you all on as I need your posts and comments and will think positive that you all will be in the next thread REALLY soon!

Love you all! and I will not go away!

Congrats on making it to the 40s, Wanna!!

My water intake is on the up, struggling w/ too much sodium, have to fix that. I'm down to 262.6

Congrats Wanna!

Stay strong on avoiding the Halloween candy. I've had a 1 small chocolate square yesterday to satisfy my craving for it- keep it in my mouth as long as I could and concentrated on enjoying it. Then my craving went away. Honestly I have to stay out of the candy aisles. Yesterday I had to pick up two bags of chocolate for Halloween treat bags for faculty at my college's department. I bought them right before I needed them-made the treat bags with a group of people (it helps when you know others are watching you) and then had the group eat the remaining chocolates.

I also said no to a piece of cake on my dad's birthday Saturday. Tough but I knew it would lead to a setback. I did indulge with 1 chocolate square and alfredo sauce on some pasta for lunch though. I have to watch my sodium too because I love pickles. I didn't hit the gym as often as I wanted to last week but it's a start.

I don't want to leave you guys either. My stay here was really brief. But I have had two days in the 240's today I am at 248 flat, yesterday I was at 249.

Heading into the 240's thread and I hope all of you succeed in your goals.

Hi everyone! I haven't posted in a while.

I've been doing school school and more school. Midterms and such. They're finally passed so the next three weeks can be a little less hectic. There's only about a month left!

Then I've been called in to serve jury duty. -.-' I'll tell you what, I think it's insane that people are forced to serve on a jury, but I guess there's not much I can do about it.

Anyways, I'm hovering around 264lbs but I think PMS is here so I'm not expecting a loss until probably the second week of November, which is okay because I'm hoping to break well into the 250's before Christmas! My Christmas present to myself will, hopefully, be a nearly 50lb loss.

I'm in my third month being binge free and that's been really exciting. I've lost, officially, 30lbs which is the most I've lost consecutively since I was thirteen years old!

I really feel like this is way of eating I've been looking for. At first I was just amazed that I wasn't binging, but I kept waiting to wake up one day feeling like I used to, but I haven't! Some days are harder and some days are ridiculously easy but you know, it feels right. It feels like it's supposed to feel. It's a challenge but not a constant uphill battle.

All my other attempts were just me fighting tooth and nail for every hour of every day until I'd finally just collapse and go right back to my old ways. This way of eating hasn't felt like that at all!

Sorry for the long post. :P I'll try to pop back in and say hello again soon! Congratulations and good luck to everybody!

Finding?? How are you doing? Sticking to plan and staying away from that candy? ( I broke down 2 days ago and had 6 pieces ARGH and went back up over 250's... Those things are KILLERS!)

Thanks Wanna! be brave, Halloween is almost over and then you'll have no candy in the house (I assume....you better, woman!)

Today is my first day with no loss at all. I'm fighting the negative thought telling me that I'm done losing and I'll regain everything. I'm staying on plan even when I come home from the library at 8-9pm and starving. That's good

Wanna WTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooo happy for you!!!!

I have not being doing so well. I have been bouncing between 252.4-255. Halloween candy, 3 birthday parties, 3 Halloween parties, and a loss of mojo have me stuck in a rut.

I am 252.8 today. I am also going to get back on track today.

i'm half way out of the 260s. I am sooo frickin happy! I'm actually 1lb lighter just this past week than I was all summer. I'm hoping to get out of the 250s by the end of the month.

Hi everyone!

I'm down about a lb I think, so the scale is definitely moving.

Lately I've set up some fitness goals for myself that I hope to meet. A few summers ago I practiced really hard and learned a bunch of beginner hula hoop tricks and now I'd say I'm at an intermediate level, but I started gaining weight and I think I just wasn't motivated because, for me, it was like why bother? Not that it's healthy to have thought that way but we've all been there, I think.

So I decided to start practicing some of the tougher tricks again. Winter is on it's way but I used to practice in the garage. I don't have unlimited space in there but if my practice hoop hits something in there it's not the end of the world because it's just full of tools and stuff. Well, sometimes I hit myself in the face but that's a different story. :P

Besides that I feel like my weight loss is crawling by but that's only because I've just lost 1lb this week. My goal is 1-2lbs a week and I would say during two weeks of the month I lose more like 3-4lbs and then for the other two I lose 1lb so it's been pretty consistent. I would say I have more a monthly goal to lose 6lbs each month. It sounds like such slow progress, especially since my first big goal is 199lbs, but I realize that time is going to pass anyways and I've finally found a way of eating that doesn't feel like pulling teeth, so I might as well just do the things I love, get fit, keep going to school and keep eating right because if I dropped everything here then next year at this time I'll just be in the same boat.

Anyways, I'm glad to see some of you are owning it in the 240's! Whoo!

And for everyone else hanging out on this board I hope you all had a great Halloween! Don't listen to that voice in your head saying you can't, always remind yourself that you can and you will!
