A little birdie (maybe named Ella) informed me that you ladies might be looking for me. So:


Life is crazy. Getting my master's degree is a lot more work then I anticipated. Oh- Did I also tell you that Andrew (DH) got a new job? It's wonderful! He's home all the time now, but....he's home all the time now. LOL.

I am walking a lot. Averaging about 20 miles a week. Since the beginning of my journey (aka January)- I have completed three 5Ks, one 10K (EEEP!) and am planning on walking a half marathon in October. I also am signed up for three more 5Ks.


I finally hit ONEderland:


And have been SERIOUSLY preparing for baby making. It has completely shifted my focus. I have started drinking raw milk, going to a chiropractor, went to an OBGYN last week and had quite a bit of tests performed, and went to the dentist. (http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/230568.php)



I think part of me felt like I didn't have much to contribute anymore since I wasn't really focused on weight loss anymore- I was focused on this radical life transformation. Weight loss was/is just a very slow, but nice by-product.

But I miss you ladies (and gentlemen if they are still hanging around). I especially missed you when I discovered virtual races (like this one- https://www.facebook.com/events/3612...3283643799624/).

So, my dears and new friends, how are you? What's new? For newbies- what is your main focus at the moment? For all- what is the most delightful thing about this week?

(Also- for those that are new and curious, since my "numbers" are vague. At my heaviest I was 252- now I'm in ONEderland. Huzzah. I've lost a solid 40 pounds in 2013. I'm meeting parts of my body that I forgot I had- like my hip bones and muscles. A few months ago I discovered my collar bones, which are now my favorite part of my body.)

Thin- I just got your PM this morning. Let me respond now. Also- I will not just call you thin, because 113 pounds down? 166 pounds? THINNNNNNN! No more thinking. It just IS.

I wish I could be doing 5K's (and holy cow, 10K's!) along with you; I've been joining you in spirit though and will get back in the game next year when my condition isn't so . . . delicate?

I'm so, so happy you finally made it to Onederland! And even if you aren't concentrating on weight loss, you're doing some amazing things that many of us are still striving to accomplish. Keep it up girl, and don't be a stranger. We've missed you here!

You look fantastic and I'm so glad you've checked in! I've missed you!

Have you started prenatal vitamins? I was told to start them when I wanted to get pregnant (of course, that was 20 years ago :-) I hope you "catch" quickly!

I like your progress pictures! And I think that last one looks perfectly sassy. Your overall change seems pretty inspirational, and I thank you for posting!

And since you asked about us! Being one of the newer people on site, I... am mostly just working on making sure I keep going. Not being too disappointed if things don't go perfectly as I'd hoped. Making overall life-changes that will eventually lead to a healthier me. I am enjoying my journey so far!
