2013 New Years resolution: Weigh 185# by Dec. 31, 2013
For this 7 week challenge, my resolution is to lose 12 lbs. and weigh 222#,
My start weight is 234#
Week one (ends May 19th): 235# (+ 1 lb.) ...sigh...
Week two (ends May 26th): 231.8 (-2.2)
Week three (ends June 2nd): 229.8 (-2)
Week four (ends June 9th): 228.8 (-1)
Week five (ends June 16th): 228.8 (-0)
Week six (ends June 23rd): 227.8 (-1)
Week seven (ends July 1): 226.4 (-1.4)
My TOTAL weight loss for 7 weeks is 7.6 lb.s
Now, I need a new challenge to keep me going!
I'm really proud of a 1 lb. loss on week 4 because I was in Vegas for 3 days this week!!!

From April Fools' to Mother's Day, I resolved to lose 9lbs, weighing in at 199.3 lbs. Weighed in at 207.0 (14.0%).
From Valentine's Day to April Fools', I resolved to lose 14.4lbs, weighing in at 201 lbs. Weighed in at 208.3 (54.1%).
From New Year's to Valentine's Day, I resolved to lose 17.2lbs, weighing in at 216 lbs. Weighed in at 216.4 (96.5%). From New Year's Day 2013 to New Year's Eve 2014, I resolve to lose 63.2lbs, weighing in at 170 lbs.

How is everyone doing? I've lost a total of 5.2# on this challenge. Only 3 weeks left so I doubt I'll make the 12# loss I set as goal but I'm going to give it a good old try!!!
I've lost 6.2 lbs. in 6 weeks. Not the weight loss I'd hoped for. I'm working soooo hard! Staying on plan and working out 4-5 days a week. I was hoping for more than 1 lb. a week!!! But I'll take it. Maybe this last week, the scales will love me.

Good morning sluggerbean! As of today I've lost 2.2 additional pounds this week!!! YAY! It took dropping to 900 cal. per day and working my butt off to achieve it! I was maintaining at 1200 calories and GAINING weight at 1400 calories! Stupid old lady metabolism!!!
If I can maintain this loss until my official weigh-in on monday I'll be HAPPY! My 29th wedding anniversary is saturday though and that might pose a problem as hubby wants to go out and eat!
BTW--- you are an inspiration with your 147# weight loss!!! What an accomplishment!
Well, my 7 week challenge ended today. My total weight loss was 7.6 lb.s ...a little disappointed actually because I worked really, really hard, both on staying on track on diet and working out at gym. But, losing weight at my age is not easy!
I need a new challenge now to keep me motivated!!!

Thank you! My birthday was Saturday and I overate both Saturday & Sunday.
